The dough for jellied pie can be prepared with anything - even with mayonnaise. With it, the baked goods will turn out fluffy and rosy, although they will be more nutritious. If there is no kefir in the refrigerator, feel free to take mayonnaise. Or you can use 50/50 – half mayonnaise, half sour cream.

Required ingredients:

  • 250 g each of mayonnaise and sour cream;
  • Cabbage;
  • Salt;
  • Two eggs;
  • Soda;
  • About five tablespoons of flour.

Cooking method:

Mix sour cream and mayonnaise in a bowl, then break the eggs into it and add flour. Knead the dough thoroughly, also add half a teaspoon of soda and salt, mix again. To make the dough without lumps, it is better to use a mixer. Shred the cabbage, add salt and simmer in butter until soft. If desired, you can season the filling with pepper or other seasonings. Grease the baking dish with oil, fill it first with one half of the dough, and then lay out the cabbage filling. Pour the second half of the dough over the cabbage. We set the cake to bake at two hundred degrees.

Kefir jellied pie with chicken

  • kefir – 500 ml
  • wheat flour – 350 g
  • eggs – 2 pcs
  • sugar – 1 tsp.
  • salt – 1 pinch
  • soda – 0.5 tsp
  • boiled chicken breast – 1 piece (about 250-350 g)
  • onions – 200 g
  • greens – 20 g (to taste)
  • vegetable oil – 3 tbsp.

To prepare the filling, finely chop the onion and fry it in vegetable oil until golden brown. Boil the chicken breast in salted water, cool and cut into small cubes. Mix the golden onion with the chicken breast and simmer a little over low heat in a frying pan to acquire a delicious aroma. Finely chop the greens and add to our filling, mix everything well and set aside.

To prepare the dough, add soda to the kefir and wait a few minutes until a small foam forms. Thus, the reaction of quenching soda in kefir occurs. At this time, beat the eggs with sugar and salt into a light foam and mix with kefir. Then add the sifted flour and mix. The dough should turn out like thick sour cream.

Grease a rimmed pie pan with butter. Pour half of the dough, leveling it over the entire surface, spread the filling evenly and fill with the second part of the dough. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake for about 30 minutes. The finished, aromatic pie can be served immediately.

Recipe 4: Kefir jellied pie

Everyone knows that baking with kefir turns out fluffy and rich, and in the case of jellied pie, it is also low-fat. For the filling you can use anything: vegetables, minced meat or mushrooms. This recipe uses potato and fish filling.

Required ingredients:

  • ½ liter of kefir;
  • Two or three eggs (check by size);
  • 7 g salt (about a teaspoon);
  • A little sugar;
  • Soda;
  • Sunflower oil;
  • Flour - by eye;
  • Can of canned fish;
  • Potato;
  • Ground black pepper;
  • Bulb onions.

Cooking method:

First, let's make the fish filling for our pie: immediately mash the canned food with a fork in a deep bowl. Chop the onion and cut the potatoes into small pieces. Heat a frying pan with oil and add potatoes and onions. Add vegetables and fry until half cooked. Transfer the potatoes to a separate plate to cool. Now let's move on to the dough: put out half a teaspoon of soda and beat it with eggs, a pinch of sugar and salt. Add two tablespoons of vegetable oil and kefir to the mixture. Let's beat everything again. Add flour in small portions and stir. The dough should turn out like sour cream. Take a mold, grease it with oil and pour in some of the dough.   • chicken breast (for filling) – 200 g (1 piece)
  • eggs (for filling) – 3 pcs.
  • potatoes (for filling) – 200 g
  • hard cheese – 100 g

To prepare the dough, mix sour cream with mayonnaise, add baking powder for fluffiness. Carefully add one egg at a time, gradually mixing. Add sifted flour into the resulting mixture in small portions. The dough should have the consistency of pancakes.

To prepare the filling, boil eggs, potatoes and chicken breast separately in salted water. Cut the cooled components into small cubes. If desired, you can puree the potatoes, in which case the filling will be more tender. Mix everything, adjust with spices to taste and set aside.

Grease the pan with oil and place half of the dough, leveling it along the edges. Then distribute the filling evenly and pour the remaining dough on top. Grind the cheese on a fine grater and sprinkle on top for a golden brown crust. Place the pie in a preheated oven at 200 degrees and bake for 30-40 minutes.

Jellied pie with potatoes in the oven

Dough ingredients

  • mayonnaise – 500 ml;
  • flour – 500 g;
  • eggs – 120 g;
  • salt – 10 g;
  • sugar – 25 g;
  • baking powder – 1 tsp..

For filling

  • potatoes – 2–3 pcs.;
  • onions – 1–2 pcs.;
  • carrots – 1 pc.;
  • hard cheese – 150 g;
  • green peas – 200 g;
  • greens – 1 bunch;
  • spices – 1 tsp..

Tip: Parsley, onion, celery, and cilantro will do. The latter gives softness to the taste. Among the spices, it is better to choose turmeric, black pepper, sumac, chaman, and asafoetida.

You will also need

  • baking paper - 1 pc.;
  • margarine for greasing the mold - 20 g.

Preparation

  1. In a small bowl, mix all dry ingredients.
  2. Beat mayonnaise with egg with a mixer or whisk, gradually adding bulk products, knead into a thin, homogeneous mass.

Separate the cauliflower and broccoli into small florets and boil in salted water for 10 minutes. If the cabbage is not cooked yet, don’t worry, it will become ready during baking. After that, let it drain and cool. Cut the boiled chicken into small cubes. Salt and pepper to taste.

To prepare the dough, beat eggs with sour cream. Add sifted flour and finely chopped garlic. You can add your favorite spices such as coriander and paprika to taste.

Grease a mold with high sides well with oil and randomly place cauliflower, broccoli and chopped chicken on the bottom. Pour the dough evenly on top and grate the cheese. Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 40 minutes. Be sure to let the cake cool for about 20 minutes after baking.

It will take about an hour to prepare such a pie, but the treat will definitely be enough to feed a large company. You can prepare the dough with kefir or sour cream - in both cases the pie will turn out excellent.

Required ingredients:

  • One and a half glasses of kefir (or sour cream);
  • 2 eggs;
  • One and a half to two glasses of flour;
  • Salt;
  • 3-4 g of soda;

  • Fresh cabbage – 200-240 g;

  1. Wash and peel potatoes (5-6 pcs.). Boil, salt. Grind into puree, cool.
  2. Peel onion (1 head), cut into cubes. Fry until soft. Add greens (parsley, green onions, dill if desired).

For the test:

  1. Combine kefir (500 ml) with sugar (0.5 tsp). Mix.
  2. Place in a warm place for 20 minutes.
  3. Add a couple of eggs, salt to taste, sifted wheat flour (300 g). Knead thoroughly.
  4. Line a baking pan with parchment. Grease with vegetable oil.

To prepare a jellied dish you do not need to have any special culinary skills. It is better to cut raw potatoes into thin slices or grate them. You can use boiled slices, mashed potatoes. There are no restrictions when choosing the filling. If you do not adhere to strict fasting, then any minced meat and chicken, chicken legs, canned fish, eggs, and vegetables will do.

With cabbage

  1. Chop 500 g cabbage into strips. Scald with boiling water, leave for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain the liquid, add salt and chopped herbs (parsley, green onions). Mix.
  3. Beat 4 eggs, add 200 g of sour cream, salt.

  1. Boil the potatoes until tender. You can cook it in its uniform. Or you can clean it and randomly cut it into several parts. This way it will cook faster. Just don’t need to salt the water, since we will add salt to the entire filling.
  2. Sauté finely chopped onion until golden.
  3. If necessary, remove the skins from the potatoes and mash them together with the onion using a masher.
  4. Add ground pepper, salt and mix.
  5. You can fry some mushrooms along with the onions. Then you will have a pie with potatoes and mushrooms.

Cooking a pie

  1. Turn on the oven to heat up at 180-190°. We will need to put the pie in an already preheated oven.
  2. Pour some oil into the mold and grease it with a silicone brush.

  3. Cover the bottom of the pan evenly with half of the dough.

  4. Distribute the filling into the mold and fill with the rest of the dough.

  5. Place the jellied pie with potatoes on the middle tier of the oven and bake for 25 minutes.

  6. We take it out, cool it a little and call everyone to the table. It will be very tasty if you serve the pie with sour cream mixed with chopped herbs.

Step-by-step recipe with photos

The most important thing in a jellied pie is the delicious dough. As a rule, the dough is prepared with mayonnaise or kefir. In my case it will be kefir.

To prepare a kefir jellied pie with chicken and potatoes, we will need eggs, vegetable oil, salt, sugar and baking powder. If you add soda instead of baking powder, then you do not need to quench it with vinegar, since it is successfully quenched by the acid of kefir. Use 2 times less baking soda than baking powder.

Please note that you can remove vegetable oil from the recipe and the pie will have less calories.

Pour kefir into the container where you will knead the dough. Beat 3 eggs and add vegetable oil.

Add baking powder, sugar and salt. At this stage, many recommend stirring the dough so that a reaction occurs (baking powder - kefir).

I did this before too. Now I put all the ingredients at once and beat with a blender.

And beat with a blender until the dough is smooth.

To make the pie delicious, you cannot do without the filling. The filling can be different: meat, vegetable, fruit, cheese. whatever your heart desires.

I wanted to cook something more filling and I settled on chicken fillet and potatoes. I took all the ingredients raw. I wanted a juicy pie. Don't worry, everything in the pie will have time to cook.

So, chop the chicken fillet quite finely.

We also chop potatoes, onions and herbs.

We combine all the ingredients for the filling, salt to taste, add your favorite spices, I used cumin and a mixture of peppers. Stir.

Stir. All that remains is to place all the ingredients on a baking sheet and bake the pie. Grease a baking sheet with margarine and sprinkle with semolina.

Pour half the dough onto the baking sheet and smooth it out with a spoon. Place the filling on top. Pour the second part of the dough over the filling. It is easier to do this with a spoon, covering the entire filling evenly with dough.

Preheat the oven to 240 degrees, place the pie in it and immediately reduce the temperature to 170 degrees. The pie will bake for 45 minutes.

I made a large kefir jellied pie with chicken and potatoes. My children ate half of it hot, and the other half (after the photo shoot :)) cold. When asked which tastes better - hot or cold, everyone unanimously said that both options were excellent!

You can cook it to your liking; you don’t have to follow the recipe exactly; you can add your own ingredients or remove some from our list, for example, potatoes. If you cook exactly according to the given recipe, then the first thing you need to do is peel the potatoes and rinse them. The chicken fillet also needs to be washed and the skin and bones (if any) removed.
  • After the above procedure, you need to chop the meat very finely. Then cut the potatoes. By the way, you shouldn’t boil it first, as raw potatoes add more juiciness. Place the chopped products in a separate cup.
  • Onions and herbs are also chopped and then added to the container with the filling. After this, the filling is salted and peppered, and cumin is added. That's all, all the basic preparations are completed, all that remains is to mix thoroughly.
  • The baking sheet is greased with margarine and sprinkled with a little semolina. Then half the dough is poured out and leveled with a spoon. We put all the filling on this dough and only after that fill it with the rest of the dough.
  • Preheat the oven to 240 degrees. Then place a baking sheet in it and lower the temperature to 170. Bake for about 45 minutes, but check periodically. After all, all ovens are different, so their power is different.
  • After a golden brown crust has formed, the kefir pie with chicken is ready. This dish can be served both hot and cold. Both options are very tasty. Additionally, you can serve sour cream with the dish.

I would like to note that, if desired, the chicken can be pre-boiled, as well as the potatoes. You can also put the onion not raw, but fry it in a frying pan. According to other recipes, kefir can be replaced with mayonnaise. The taste will be different, but the pie filling will also be delicious. And baking such a pie takes less time, about half an hour.
