1. You will need rice, milk, water, spices to taste, salt, sugar, banana and butter for serving.

2. Rinse the rice. Rinse until the water becomes clear. Soak in water for 20 minutes, then drain the water. Add fresh cold water and boil the rice until half cooked.

3. Warm milk with cinnamon and cloves. Strain.

    The porridge, of course, will need to be cooked. And then bake in the oven along with the banana. Therefore, we turn on the oven at 190 degrees.

    Rinse the rice in cold water. Pour into a small saucepan and pour in 75 ml of boiling water. Place on low heat. When the water boils, pour in the milk.

    Cook until the rice is completely cooked. This will take on average 30 minutes. Watch the process so that the rice does not burn. Stir and add a little water if necessary. Peel the banana. Break half into pieces and mash into a puree with a fork.

    Cut the remaining half into slices.

Do not replace water with milk. Cooking only with milk can cause the porridge to burn.

Do not add sugar during cooking. Banana is a fairly sweet fruit, and you don’t need to put sugar in the porridge. But if you still decide to add it, then add it to the already prepared dish, at the moment when you sprinkle the porridge with nutmeg.

You can add banana chips to rice porridge, replacing, for example, the circles on top.

Take very ripe and overripe (not black) bananas, then the porridge will be sweeter and you won’t have to add sugar.

For kids, you can lightly puree the porridge to make it creamy. Run with an immersion blender before placing in baking pan. But so that whole grains of rice remain.
