  1. First, boil the potatoes, carrots, and beets in their jackets. We also boil chicken eggs. It is better to cook beets separately so that they do not color other products. How to cook: put the pans on the fire, as soon as the vegetables boil, put the stove on low heat and cook until done.
  2. While our vegetables are cooking, prepare the marinade for the onions. Take a deep bowl for stirring. Thoroughly mix water, vinegar (alternatively, citric acid), sugar and salt. You need to ensure that the sugar and salt are completely dissolved in the water and vinegar.
  3. Take a medium-sized onion and chop it finely. Place the chopped onion in our marinade and set aside for now.
