3. Next, add the chopped sausage and grated cheese to the bowl with the beaten eggs. If you add greens, add them there too.

4. Now take the loaf and cut it into slices about 1 cm thick. Then you need to evenly distribute the filling on each slice in a not very thick layer.

5. Heat the frying pan over medium heat, grease with a small amount of butter and place the sandwiches with the filling down. This will help the filling stick well to the loaf pieces. Fry until golden brown, filling side down, then turn over to the other side and fry for about 30 seconds. You can use vegetable oil, but my children prefer butter. Everything is laid out on the table... Let's get started:

  1. Break the eggs into a deep plate.
  2. Salt, pepper and add herbs (parsley, dill or whatever you like; I add Provençal herbs) and milk.
  3. Mix everything well.
  4. Cut the cheese into slices.
  5. Place cheese on one piece of bread and cover with another.
  6. Then thoroughly soak the sandwich on both sides in the egg mixture.

Now it's time to tackle the frying pan! Heat and grease it with oil and place sandwiches in it.

You need to fry on both sides over medium heat.

Once the bread is lightly browned, place tomato slices and herbs on top.

  • my favorite cheese is mozzarella (and again, you can choose a different variety),
  • 1/2 cup milk,

  • frying oil,
  • a little salt,
  • It will be tastier if you also take bacon, although it’s not bad without it.

Let's prepare it like this:

  1. Cut mozzarella (or other cheese) into oval circles (or slices).
  2. Beat eggs with milk and add a little salt.
  3. If you use bacon, you need to fry it in a dry frying pan.
  4. Place cheese (and, if desired, bacon) on one half of the bread.
  5. Cover this half-sandwich with the second piece and dip it into the egg-milk mixture on both sides.
  6. Fry in a hot frying pan until slightly browned.
  7. You can decorate with greenery.

These sandwiches are usually served hot. Although they are no less tasty when cooled!
