Cut the chicken fillet lengthwise into 2 layers. This is the case if the fillet is quite thick. That is, from one fillet you should get two chops, which we will roll into rolls. Cover it with a plastic bag and beat it thoroughly using a kitchen hammer, but don’t overdo it, the chicken fillet is very tender and may spread. Lightly salt and pepper the chopped meat to taste. You don’t need too much salt, because we will have cheese in the filling, and it is quite salty.


Separately, grate the cheese into a bowl on a coarse grater, add the squeezed garlic through a press, chopped herbs and softened butter. Mix everything thoroughly.


We make cheese balls or ovals according to the number of chops available, put cheese filling on each chop (on the edge).


And wrap the chop in a roll as tightly as possible. If desired, you can pin the rolls at the seam with a wooden skewer.


Now we need to prepare the potato coat: we do it this way: grate raw potatoes into a deep bowl on a coarse grater, add raw egg and starch. salt and pepper to taste. Mix.

The prepared rolls are wrapped in a thin layer of uncooked smoked bacon. Before baking, it is recommended to lightly fry the resulting product in a frying pan, then place it on a baking sheet and bake for 30 - 20 minutes in an oven heated to 180°C. In the recipe, you can replace the pineapple with orange slices, and the juiciness of the chicken and bacon rolls will only increase and the taste will be richer.

How to make Chicken Roll with Bacon and Cheese

This dish always has a place at a festive dinner, and guests will not ignore it.

Required:

  • Fillet – a couple of pieces.
  • Cheese – 100 gr.
  • Egg.
  • Bacon – 100 gr.
  • Seasoning for chicken.

How to cook:

  1. Divide the fillet into halves, cover with cling film, and beat with a hammer.
  2. Thinly slice the bacon and cheese (in long strips).
  3. Spread the broken slice, place a piece of cheese on the edge, next to or on top of the cheese. Add a pinch of seasoning to the chicken.
  4. Roll the sausage into a roll. Brush with beaten egg.
  5. Hide, wrap in foil, bake for 25-30 minutes. Oven temperature – 180 o C.
  6. I advise you to open the foil five minutes before the end of cooking, then the dish will be perfectly fried on top.

How to bake in a slow cooker

Chicken fillet rolls can also be prepared in a slow cooker.


To do this you need to use:

  • 1-2 chicken fillets;
  • 0.05 kg of sharp cheese;
  • 0.05 kg bacon;
  • 1⁄2 tbsp. l. Provençal herbs;
  • 4 tsp. mayonnaise;
  • ground black pepper;
  • salt.

Step by step recipe:

1. Beat the washed and dried poultry meat with a kitchen hammer. 2. Salt and pepper. 3. Combine Provençal herbs with mayonnaise. Brush each chop on one side with the mixture. 4. Cut the cheese into thin strips. Place each on the meat base. 5. Wrap the rolls, tucking the edges so that the cheese does not leak out. 6. Wrap with bacon. 7. Place the prepared elements on the bottom of the multicooker bowl. 8. Turn on the “Baking” mode. Cook for 10-12 minutes.

Serve hot on a large platter with vegetables.

With cheese and bell pepper

The recipe for chicken rolls with cheese (photo attached) allows you to add various ingredients to it. For example, bell pepper. Need to:

  • kilogram of fillet;
  • 200 grams of sweet pepper;
  • 100 grams of processed and hard cheese;
  • green onions - a bunch;
  • breadcrumbs;
  • egg;
  • spices.
  • Chicken fillet is used to make chops. Sprinkle them with salt and spices.
  • Peppers are cut into cubes.
  • The onion is also chopped.
  • Cheeses, hard and processed, are grated.
  • Cheeses, onions and peppers are mixed.
  • The chops are stuffed with stuffing and rolled into rolls.
  • Dip them in egg and breadcrumbs.
  • Send to bake for half an hour.

Chicken and bacon rolls with prunes and walnuts

We offer another original recipe with prunes and walnuts.

Ingredients:

  • chicken breast - 500 g;
  • bacon - 8 slices (200 g);
  • walnuts - 50 g;
  • prunes - 100 g;
  • milk - 110 ml;
  • white bread - 2 slices;
  • spices.

Preparation:

The amount of ingredients is designed for 8 servings. Chicken breast and bread soaked in milk are passed through a meat grinder. Prunes are filled with water heated to 40°C and adjusted for 2-3 minutes. The fruits are dried with a napkin and finely chopped, then finely ground nuts are added to them. The minced meat is laid out on a cutting board and a flat cake is formed. A filling of prunes and nuts is placed in the middle of the flatbread, the edges are pinched and a stuffed cylindrical briquette is formed. Then, the resulting briquette is wrapped in a strip of bacon. Before placing in the pan, the roll is lightly fried in a frying pan on both sides and only then placed in a baking dish. The rolls are baked in a preheated cabinet at 180-190 for 25-20 minutes.
