Classic recipe for making an omelet in a slow cooker
According to the classic recipe, the dish is prepared in water. The result is a low-calorie budget dish. It contains: 2 selected eggs, a large spoon of low-fat sour cream, 2 tbsp. purified drinking water, a pinch of salt.
- Break the eggs into a deep container and lightly beat with a fork.
- Next, half a glass of water is poured into the products, sour cream and salt are added.
- Mix the ingredients well with a spoon or fork.
- The required amount of water is poured into the device’s container, and the “Steaming” program is turned on. The omelette is poured into a convenient form and placed on a grill for steaming.
- Under the lid, the dish cooks for 15-17 minutes.
- Grease with a piece of butter.
- Serve with chopped herbs.
Protein steam omelet “Dietary”
An omelet made only from proteins has special dietary value. It is prescribed for stomach diseases, intestinal disorders and is prepared with water or skim milk. This egg dish can be consumed if you have high cholesterol levels. The amount of ingredients is indicated per serving.
Ingredients:
- three egg whites;
- one glass of cold water or low-fat milk;
- a teaspoon of butter for the mold;
- salt.
Cooking method:
- Dry well-washed eggs with a clean napkin.
- Separate the whites.
- Beat them with a pinch of salt.
- Carefully add water or skim milk and beat again.
- Grease the omelette pan with oil.
- Pour in the milk-protein mixture.
- Cook in a double boiler or steam in a saucepan until the mixture thickens (about fifteen minutes).
Recipe with cheese
Cheese will make the dish more satisfying and nutritious. You will need a solid product (100 g), and, in addition: 30 g of butter, 4 large eggs, salt, 320 ml of milk, 50 g of white bread or loaf.
- Soak the pulp of bread or loaf in milk.
- Grate the cheese.
- A base consisting of eggs, milk with softened bread mixture, and salt the cheese. You can add your favorite seasonings to taste.
- Beat the mixture with a whisk or fork until foam appears on the surface.
- Pour the resulting mixture into a greased bowl.
- In the “Baking” program, the dish is prepared in 25 minutes.
- The hot treat is placed on a plate and generously sprinkled with the remaining hard cheese.
To get a fluffy omelette, beat half of the whites into a foam and then combine with the total mass.
Serve the dish with fresh tomatoes.
Omelette with milk in a slow cooker
This is a twist on the classic omelet recipe. It is prepared on the basis of milk (2 cups). Also taken: 5 selected eggs, a piece of butter, salt.
- Eggs are broken into a deep bowl and warmed milk is poured. The higher its fat content, the tastier the dish will be.
- The mass is salted, peppered if desired and flavored with any aromatic herbs.
- The mixture is thoroughly whisked until bubbles appear.
- The bottom and walls of the multicooker container are greased with melted butter or ghee.
- Next, the milk-egg mixture is poured into the bowl of the device.
- With the lid closed, the dish is cooked in the “Baking” program for 20 minutes.
- After the corresponding signal from the device, wait another 5-7 minutes and only then open the lid.
To prevent the dish from falling off, you need to first warm the container on which it will be laid out. Tilt the multicooker, and carefully holding it with a spatula, move the food into the prepared dish. Garnish with finely chopped green onions.
With corn
Place 1 can of corn in a colander to remove excess juice and lightly fry in oil. Beat 4 eggs with 50 ml of milk, add cooled corn and seasonings. Cooking time – 20 minutes.

I propose to cook with me the most popular and quick dish for children's breakfast - a milk omelet. The cooking procedure is simple and not much different from cooking in a double boiler, oven or on the stove, but there is still a small plus: you don’t have to monitor the readiness of the omelet in the multicooker; after cooking, the multicooker will emit a characteristic signal and go into heating mode itself.
The omelet can be cooked with carrots, or without anything. Small children eat omelettes better when nothing is added to it. That's what we'll prepare.
With sausage, tomatoes and cheese
In addition to cheese, you can add other tasty ingredients to the treat under discussion. For example, sausage and tomatoes. The result is a complete, hearty dish that is suitable not only for breakfast, but even for lunch. In addition to 5 selected eggs, you will need to prepare: 170 g of any boiled sausage, 1 tbsp. full-fat milk, 2 medium tomatoes, ground pepper, 90 g hard cheese, salt.
- The multicooker bowl is thoroughly greased with any fat.
- The sausage is cut into small cubes and lightly fried in the “Baking” program. Next, small pieces of tomatoes are sent into the bowl. Together, the ingredients are cooked for another 7-10 minutes until the liquid evaporates from the container.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs with milk until foamy.
- The same multicooker program restarts. The egg-milk mixture is poured onto the sausage and tomatoes. There is no need to mix the ingredients.
- The dish is prepared under a closed lid for 25 minutes.
The ready-made hot treat is generously sprinkled with a layer of grated cheese.
With sour cream
To make the taste of the dish more delicate, it is worth adding not only milk, but also full-fat sour cream. It’s great if the housewife has a homemade product at hand. The dish will include: 5 chicken eggs, 60 g of sour cream, 110 ml of milk, salt, 25 g of butter. How to cook an omelet in a slow cooker with sour cream is described below.
- Beat the eggs in a separate bowl with a fork and mix with milk and sour cream. The mass is salted.
- After greasing it with butter, the resulting mixture is poured into the bowl of the device.
- In the Baking program, it will take 25 minutes to prepare an omelet.
It is convenient to cut the dish into portions using a silicone spatula.

Steam omelette can be prepared in different ways: in any case, such a dish turns out to be very tasty and healthy. Let's consider the methods of its creation that have gained the greatest popularity among consumers.
Traditional
If you have stomach diseases, you should not eat omelette with a crispy crust or with lard. For people with such problems, it is better to cook a traditional steamed dish. To create a traditional omelet in a slow cooker you will need the following ingredients:
- salt (as much as you like);
- a small glass of milk;
- a couple of eggs.
The dish is created as follows.
- Mix the milk and eggs thoroughly using a whisk. Salt the resulting mixture.
- Place a steam cooking container in the appliance. To create an omelet, you will need to prepare a mold. Spread a little vegetable oil on it and pour the mixture of eggs and milk into it.
- You will need to set the mode for cooking with steam. After this, turn on the device. The omelette will be ready in about a quarter of an hour.
Cheesy
Prepare:
- a couple of glasses of water;
- a small amount of butter;
- a small glass of milk;
- a pinch of salt;
- 50 g hard cheese;
- greens (as much as you like);
- 3 eggs;
- a couple of cherry tomatoes.
You will need to prepare a cheese dish like this.
- Prepare silicone or ceramic molds. Grease these containers with butter.
- Take another bowl and mix salt, milk and eggs there. The mass should be homogeneous.
- Cut greens, tomatoes, grate or finely chop hard cheese.
- Divide tomatoes and cheese among prepared ramekins. Then you will need to pour milk and eggs onto these products. When pouring the molds, you should leave a little space, because the dish expands slightly during the process of creating it.
- Pour water into the bowl of the device (it should be quite hot), place a container on top for cooking using steam. Fill the molds and place them in the device.
- Set the steam cooking mode, turn on the multicooker, keep the omelette inside for about a quarter of an hour. It will need to be served hot.
With fermented milk products
Instead of milk, you can use yogurt and kefir. Take:
- a few sprigs of dill;
- a small piece of white bread;
- a couple of eggs;
- 50 g hard cheese;
- salt;
- 20 g of selected fermented milk product.
The dish will need to be prepared like this.
- First you will need to beat the eggs in a deep container. Salt them, add fermented milk product. The resulting mass will need to be mixed thoroughly.
- Wash the greens and chop them finely.
- You will need to add cheese, herbs and bread to the kefir-egg mixture. Mix everything with a spoon.
- Take the cling film and place it in the steam cooking container. Fill it with the prepared mixture.
- Pour about 400 ml of water into the bowl of the device.
- Distribute the mixture over the container using a spoon.
- Select the steam cooking mode, turn on the appliance and keep the dish there for a quarter of an hour.
- Carefully remove the finished omelette and sprinkle with herbs. After this, the dish can be served.
Fish
Pollock or pink salmon are more suitable for creating an omelette with fish: they do not have a very strong smell. You will need:
- seasonings and salt (add as much as you are used to);
- 75 g milk;
- several eggs;
- 0.2 kg fish fillet;
- a tablespoon of flour;
- 50 g sour cream.
The fish dish will need to be prepared as follows.
- Mix seasonings, flour, eggs, milk and sour cream. Whisk everything thoroughly: the mass should be homogeneous.
- Take a silicone mold and spread butter on it. You can simply place cling film or foil in the steam container.
- Place the pre-cut fish into the pan.
- Pour the prepared mixture onto the fillets.
- Pour about 400 ml of water into the bowl of the device.
- Place the basket with the mixture in the slow cooker and close the lid.
- Set the “Steam” mode and cook the omelette for about half an hour.
With bacon
A steamed omelet will perfectly complement delicious bacon. You can use ham instead. Take:
- 50 g milk;
- 60 g onions;
- 4 eggs;
- butter;
- 0.1 kg of hard cheese;
- 0.1 kg ham.
Creation of a dish is carried out as follows.
- First you will need to prepare the multicooker. Pour 0.8 liters of water into the bowl and place the basket over it.
- Peel, chop the onion and fry it with ham.
- Grind or finely chop the cheese.
- Take a silicone mold and grease it with oil. Spread the fried ham and cheese over it.
- Mix milk and eggs thoroughly. After this, you will need to fill the mold with the resulting mass.
- Set the steamer mode. Turn on the device and wait about 10 minutes: this time will be enough to prepare a delicious omelet. The dish should be served hot.
Vegetable
Vegetable omelet is a satisfying, but fairly low-calorie dish. To create it, take:
- salt;
- 70 g cauliflower;
- several eggs;
- 50 g hard cheese;
- 70 g broccoli;
- 70 g asparagus;
- a small glass of milk;
- 70 g carrots.
The dish will need to be created like this.
- First you need to prepare the vegetables. Remove the skins from the carrots, rinse the asparagus, and separate the broccoli and cauliflower.
- Cut the vegetables into pieces and place them in a steaming container.
- Pour water into the device’s bowl and close the lid. Then you should set the mode for cooking with steam and keep the vegetables in the device for about half an hour.
- Take separate dishes. Then mix the milk and eggs in it using a whisk.
- Spread butter on the pan and place the cooked vegetables in it. Pour milk and eggs into it.
- Cook the dish for a quarter of an hour (also in double boiler mode).
When you are about to serve the omelette, sprinkle it with cheese. You can decorate the dish with herbs.
Protein
The protein dish is suitable for those who are on a diet or watching their weight. Prepare:
- salt;
- a little butter;
- a couple of chicken eggs;
- a small glass of milk.
An omelette should be prepared like this.
- Separate the yolks from the whites. You can use a regular plastic bottle for this.
- Pour milk into the whites, then you will need to salt the mixture. Beat the resulting mass thoroughly (using a blender or whisk).
- Pour the whipped mixture into the mold and place it in the slow cooker.
- Set the steamer mode and cook the omelette for about 10 minutes.
To get a tasty dish, you should consider a number of recommendations from experienced chefs. Experts give the following advice.
- Eggs and milk should be taken approximately equally. This way the omelette will be as fluffy as possible.
- Additional ingredients should be no more than half of the total mixture, otherwise the omelette will settle due to heavy components. As a result, it will turn out flat.
- When planning to steam an omelet, do not add sugar to it. It will significantly worsen the taste of the dish. If you are preparing an omelet for a child, you can add sugar, however, you should not add more than a quarter teaspoon of this component.
- When using greens to create a dish, you need to take into account its condition. During the cooking process, frozen herbs are usually added, fresh herbs are added to the finished omelette, and dry herbs are added to the raw mixture.
- It is better not to open the lid immediately after preparing the dish, otherwise the omelette will not be very fluffy. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.

Omelette with mushrooms, tomatoes and cheese in a slow cooker
The recipe for an omelet for breakfast can be improved almost endlessly. Just add mushrooms to it to get a completely new dish. Take: onion, 160 g champignons, 4 selected eggs, salt, 2 tomatoes, 70 g hard cheese, 80 ml water.
- Chopped mushrooms and onions are fried until tender in the “Baking” program in any fat.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with water and salt, and then pour them over the frying.
- The ingredients are mixed, and the treat is cooked under the lid for 15 minutes in the same program.
- Next, slices of tomatoes are laid out on the surface of the dish, and grated cheese is poured in. The lid is closed again and the omelette is cooked for another 6-7 minutes.
You can take not only champignons as a treat, but also boiled forest mushrooms.
Option 5: Scrambled eggs in a slow cooker with mushrooms
Another not entirely simple recipe for scrambled eggs, but the result is a gorgeous dish for dinner or lunch.
Since champignons are indicated, there is no need to pre-cook the mushrooms. If chanterelles, white or other types are used, then first boil them and then use them according to the recipe, reducing the quantity. Ingredients
- 4 eggs;
- 150 g champignons;
- 70 g onion;
- 2 tbsp. l. oils;
- spices.
How to cook
Step 1:
Pour the oil into a bowl. We set the frying program and immediately proceed to the champignons. We wash the mushrooms. It is highly undesirable to soak them; there will be a lot of water. Cut into small cubes or slices. Pour into the bowl. Peel the onion and add it too. Fry until almost done, stir occasionally. At the end you need to add salt.
Step 2:
You can simply crack the eggs on top of the mushrooms or stir them first in a bowl and then pour them out. We do it the way we like it, don’t forget to add salt to them too, you can pepper them.
Step 3:
Close the multi-cooker bowl and cook the scrambled eggs with mushrooms for about eight minutes. We add herbs, vegetables, ketchup, sprinkle with cheese or decorate with olives.
You can even make these scrambled eggs with pickled mushrooms. They are convenient because they do not require long frying. In this case, the onions are cooked first, and then the mushrooms are added.
Italian frittata
Frittata is an Italian omelette. But it is no more difficult to prepare than our usual dish. The recipe for the treat will include: 40 g of butter, 6 selected chicken eggs, salt, 110 ml of milk, 70 grated hard cheese, a couple of green onions, 100 g of fresh spinach.
- Eggs are vigorously beaten with milk and salt. You can use any seasonings.
- Grated cheese is added to the resulting mixture.
- Whole washed spinach leaves and finely chopped green onions are fried in butter in the “Baking” program. A couple of minutes are enough for the greens to just go limp.
- Onions and spinach are poured into the milk-egg mixture. The dish is baked for 25 minutes with the lid closed.
The resulting frittata is served with olives or black olives.
Steamed omelette in a slow cooker
A crispy omelette made with lard or any fat is always delicious. But sometimes you need to prepare a low-calorie and healthy dish for breakfast. For such cases, you should choose a steamed omelet in a slow cooker. It turns out to be dietary and completely harmless to health and figure. The products you will need to use are: 170 ml of milk, 2 large eggs, a pinch of salt.
- In a deep bowl, beat the eggs using two crossed forks. Salt, milk, and seasonings are immediately added to the mixture.
- A little less than half a liter of water is poured into the device’s container.
- A special grill for steaming is installed in the multicooker, and on top of it there is an omelette mold, which is minimally greased with non-aromatic oil. The egg mixture is poured here.
- The “Steam” program will cook for 15 minutes.
- The device cover must be kept closed.
- The finished breakfast is carefully transferred to a warm plate so that the dish does not lose its shape.
This dietary treat is best served with a salad of fresh vegetables without any additional sauces or dressings. You can complement it with boiled chicken breast or grilled any white fish.
Option 6: Scrambled eggs in a slow cooker with sausages
You can cook these scrambled eggs with sausages, small sausages, and even just ham or sausage. We use any oil for frying. This amount of ingredients yields as many as three servings.
Ingredients
- 6 eggs;
- 3 sausages;
- 3 sprigs of parsley;
- 20 g butter;
- a clove of garlic.
How to cook
Step 1:
Cut the sausages into circles. If you use sausage or other products, then take approximately 150-180 grams and cut into arbitrary pieces. You can make cubes or straws.
Step 2:
Place the oil in the multicooker and add the sausages, turn on the frying program and lightly brown. Add eggs, sprinkle with salt and chopped garlic. Close and cook for 10 minutes.
Step 3:
Raise the lid of the multicooker, place the scrambled eggs in portions, adding a sprig of parsley to each portion.
Thanks to heat treatment, garlic will not emit such a strong smell as a fresh vegetable, but will add flavor to the dish. If necessary, it can be excluded.
