Delicious kefir bread in a slow cooker

In the modern world, absolutely every housewife can prepare bread with kefir in a slow cooker. Mastering a simple recipe will not be difficult.

Let's prepare the following ingredients:

  • oatmeal (dry flakes) – 1 tbsp;
  • sugar – 2 tbsp;
  • rye flour - 1 tbsp;
  • breadcrumbs - 4 tsp;
  • wheat flour - 3 tbsp;
  • drain oil – 100 g;

  5. After the “rest”, put the grown dough into a container greased with sunflower oil and leave it for several hours to form the “layering” characteristic of bread.
  6. Form the dough into the desired shape and place it in the oven for 40-50 minutes. You need to place two glasses of water under the baking sheet so that the bread does not dry out and is saturated with moisture at the right time.

How to bake according to the Irish recipe

An old and very unusual recipe for traditional Irish cuisine. In the classic recipe, rye bread with kefir is used together with the addition of raisins.

For this interesting recipe you will need the following ingredients:

  • wheat and rye flour – 1.3 tbsp;
  • corn flour - 1 tbsp;

  • 470 gr. rye flour;

  • 1.5 teaspoons salt;
  • 410 ml. water;

Preparation:

  1. In 80 ml. Steam the malt with water and leave to cool.
  2. Pour yeast with rye flour into the oven bowl, then add wheat flour and salt.
  3. Add malt, butter and honey, vinegar, coriander to the ingredients. Pour in the rest of the water.
  4. Turn on mode 07 and leave the rye bread to cook in the bread machine for 3.5 hours.

Whey bread in a bread maker without yeast is another option for simple and high-quality baking, based on the work of whey proteins, which quickly activate fermentation, give the product a soft texture and additional protein. To speed up the processes, it is better to heat the whey and add soda only 10 minutes after mixing.

Initially, there was not enough liquid in this recipe, I had to adjust it so that the dough ball made from kefir yeast dough would be as it should be. I advise you to do the same when changing flour in baking; sometimes, due to the low gluten content, the dough “floats”, that is, it turns out liquid. This causes the top of the finished bread to collapse.

    Preparation

    1. Pour warm water over the yeast, add a little sugar and leave for 10 minutes.
