This dish can be a great lunch or dinner, sometimes left for breakfast. The chicken turns out juicy and is cooked with a side dish – delicious potatoes.

Ingredients:

  • chicken - one small carcass;
  • potatoes - 5-6 tubers;
  • olive oil – 1 tbsp. l.;
  • mustard – 2 tsp;
  • red pepper and dried herbs - to taste;
  • salt - to taste;
  • honey – 2 tsp.

You can look for ready-made spice mixtures for air frying and chicken in stores - this is more convenient than mixing the spices yourself.

Cooking method:

  1. First let's cook the chicken. Rinse, remove fluff and feathers (if any), dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a bowl, mix the marinade: mustard, honey, olive oil, spices, salt. Carefully coat the chicken with the mixture and let it sit for 10-15 minutes at room temperature.
  3. Meanwhile, peel the potatoes and cut them into arbitrary slices. Add salt, sprinkle with dry herbs and stir so that the spices are evenly distributed over the potatoes.
  4. Put the air fryer to warm up. When hot, place the potato wedges in the bowl; on top of it is a grill and a chicken.
  5. Set the cooking temperature to 200°C. Cook at this temperature for about 20 - 25 minutes, until the top layer is covered with a golden crust.
  6. Turn the chicken over to the other side and cook for another 15 - 20 minutes, until it is also golden. Check if the potatoes are ready and serve.

Chicken with potatoes is a mini-masterpiece of culinary art. After all, during the cooking process, vegetables are soaked in fats and juices, and chicken is covered with a beautiful golden crust.

How to cook chicken in an air fryer

First you need to prepare the chicken: defrost it, wash it and dry it thoroughly with a paper towel. This is the first stage of preparation.

Then prepare the sauce to coat the chicken. To prepare it you need to take mayonnaise, garlic, salt, spices (nutmeg, dried basil, ground red pepper, coriander). All this needs to be mixed.

Place the chicken coated in the sauce in the refrigerator for half an hour so that it is soaked in the sauce, and then on the lower rack or on a special stand. So that its back is on top.

For a spicy aroma, you need to pour beer into the bottom of the air fryer, into a container. Juice and fat will drain there.

  • sour cream – 100 – 150 g;
  • small zucchini – 1 pc.;
  • eggplant – 1-2 pcs.;
  • French mustard – 1 tsp;
  • spices to taste.

Fantasy is the key to the success of a dish. Here you can add carrots cut into pieces, slices of potatoes and onions, and other vegetables to taste.

Cooking method:

  1. Rinse thighs and dry. Mix selected spices (for example, dried herbs and pepper) with salt, mustard and sour cream. Coat the thighs with the mixture and set them aside for 15 - 20 minutes.
  2. Wash the zucchini and/or eggplants, cut into slices of approximately the same thickness, add salt and set aside for 15 minutes. This process removes unnecessary bitterness from the vegetables. After the specified time has passed, blot the zucchini and eggplants with napkins.
  3. Preheat the air fryer. Place vegetables on the lower rack or bottom. Place thighs and marinade on top of the grill. Cook at 200°C for about 15-20 minutes, then turn the chicken over and bake it for the same amount of time.
  4. Place chicken on a platter, surround with vegetables and serve.

Sour cream goes well with poultry, and roasted vegetables make an excellent side dish. The result is an appetizing, satisfying, not overloaded dish.

Chicken breast in an air fryer

In a bowl, mix mayonnaise and garlic, passed through a press. Coat the chicken fillet on all sides with the mixture, place in a container, close and leave in a cool place for 30 minutes.

  • chicken fillet – 3-4 pcs. medium size;
  • lemon juice;
  • onion – 2-3 pcs.;
  • tomatoes – 2-3 pcs.;
  • garlic – 2-3 cloves;
  • dry herbs, spices and salt to taste;
  • olive oil – 3-4 tbsp. l.

It is more convenient to use chicken thigh fillet.

Cooking method:

  1. So, wash the fillet, dry it with a paper towel and cut into medium-sized pieces.
  2. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon and mix it with olive oil, dried herbs (e.g. cilantro, oregano, thyme) and spices as desired. Finely chop one onion and garlic, add them to the marinade.
  3. Mix the pieces of meat with the marinade and leave in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours.
  4. Cut the remaining onions and tomatoes into slices. Thread the meat onto air fryer skewers, alternating with vegetables.
  5. Cook at 250°C with the fan speed set to high. After 5 min. reduce heat to 230°C and speed to medium and bake for another 15 minutes.

Air fryer chicken kebab turns out spicy, juicy and aromatic, and is best served with a light green salad or baked potato.

Recipe 1. Chicken with mushrooms in creamy sauce in the air fryer

Chicken in cream sauce has already gained its share of popularity, but it's time to improve this recipe a little and adjust it to be cooked in an air fryer.

The meat should marinate a little. For the marinade, mix lemon juice, you can use lemon pulp. Mix all this with olive oil and mix thoroughly with the meat. As for the chicken fillet, it can be cut into medium pieces. Next, let's move on to other products. For this dish we need boiled mushrooms. Boil the champignons for about 5 – 7 minutes in slightly salted water. Next, grind the cooked mushrooms with peeled onions in a meat grinder.

Bake the meat at 250 degrees in an air fryer. It is better to choose the middle grill. Cook for no more than 15 minutes. We take a mold, first put the fried meat in it, then a mixture of onions and mushrooms. All that remains is to pour the cream over the ingredients and close the lid tightly. Simmer the chicken in the sauce for about 30 minutes.

Chicken in a sleeve with vegetables

  1. Chicken buckets - 500 grams;
  2. Potatoes – 700 gr. (5-6pcs);
  3. Chicken – 500g;
  4. Onion – 1 pc.;
  5. Carrots – 1 pc.;
  6. Garlic – 2 cloves;
  7. Vegetable oil – 2-3 tbsp;
  8. Salt – 1/2 tsp;
  9. Seasoning for potatoes – 1/3 tsp;
  10. Seasoning for meat – 1/2 tsp;
  11. Black pepper - to taste;
  12. Turmeric - to taste;
  13. Paprika - to taste;
  14. Dried greens - to taste.

Preparation

Wash the potatoes, peel them, cut them into thick slices 1-1.5 cm thick. Peel the carrots and cut them into thin slices. Cut the onion into thin half rings. Mix vegetables, salt and pepper. Salt and pepper the chicken and add seasonings. Chop the garlic and rub the thighs with it, rubbing the spices. Marinate it all for 20 minutes.

We transfer the vegetables into a baking sleeve. Place meat on top. Water them with vegetable oil. We secure the edges and transfer it all to a wire rack or in a baking container (so that the contents do not spread throughout the entire convection oven in case of a breakthrough). Don't forget to poke holes in the sleeve to prevent it from exploding. Bake the chicken sleeve for 60 minutes at 200 degrees. We decorate the finished portions with greens.

Chicken pieces in marinade

Ingredients

Cooking chicken in an air fryer takes minimal time. Here is another simple recipe that can be complemented with grilled vegetable salad:

  1. Chicken - 1.5 kg;
  2. Salt 1.5 tsp;
  3. Sour cream 2 tbsp;
  4. Seasonings: a mixture of peppers, rosemary and dried basil - 30 grams;
  5. Garlic 1 large clove.

Preparation

We cut the whole chicken into pieces, separating each element at the joints. Grate the garlic on a fine grater and add it to the sour cream. Add spices and mix. The breast pieces will cook in 25 minutes at this temperature.
