A very simple, but quite successful recipe for homemade crumpets, which does not require fuss with dough.
Ingredients:

  • 400 ml wheat flour
  • 1 egg
  • 100 ml kefir
  • 3 tbsp. spoons of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 50 g butter

Preparation step by step:

1.In a deep dish, combine kefir and chicken egg, whisk and add baking soda. Stir in granulated sugar and salt. Melt the butter in a saucepan or microwave and add to the kefir mixture.

2. Sift the flour through a kitchen sieve and stir into the liquid mass, knead a fairly thick dough. Wrap it with your hands, cover with a clean cotton or linen kitchen towel and leave for half an hour in a warm room.

3. On a table dusted with flour, roll out the dough using a rolling pin into a layer 1 centimeter high. Cut out round blanks using a thin-walled glass. Line a wide baking tray with baking paper and grease it with sunflower oil using a pastry brush.

4. Move the dough pieces onto the parchment and prick each one with a fork in three places. Place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius and bake for 25 minutes until lightly browned. Carefully remove the finished donuts from the parchment and serve immediately.

Quick kefir crumpets fried in a frying pan

Of course, these donuts differ from the classic ones, however, they turn out airy, light and tasty, and little time is spent on their preparation.

Products:

  • Kefir – 250 ml
  • Sugar – 5 tbsp.
  • Soda – 1 tsp.
  • Salt – 0.5 tsp.
  • Vegetable oil for dough – 1 tbsp.
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Flour – 4 tbsp.
  • Vanilla sugar - optional
  • Lemon zest - optional

Preparation:

  1. Pour kefir into a separate bowl and add baking soda, set aside for 10 minutes.

2. Break the eggs into a bowl, add salt, sugar and vegetable oil. Beat this mixture.

3. Mix the egg mixture with kefir mixture and mix everything.

4.Now, add flour little by little, 1 glass at a time, and mix after each glass. This is done so as not to overdo it with flour.

Because the eggs are different in size, or they took a fuller spoon of one or another ingredient. Using the last glass of flour, adjust the hardness of the dough. The dough turns out soft and slightly sticks to your hands.

  1. Divide the dough into 3 parts. Roll out a circle, 1 cm thick.

We cut out the products using any molds or a glass - circles; they can be cut into 4 or 6 parts.

  1. Pour oil into a frying pan, about the thickness of a finger, and heat it up. Place the donuts in hot oil and fry them on both sides.

7. Remove excess oil on a paper towel. Afterwards, put it on a plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with any jam, condensed milk or sour cream.

Donuts with almonds

Thanks to the filling of cream and jam, the most ordinary donuts turn into an exquisite delicacy.

Ingredients:

  • 300 g flour
  • 75 g butter
  • 50 g sugar
  • 25 g fresh yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

  • 25 g almonds
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • jam
  • powdered sugar

Preparation step by step:

1. Add 1 tbsp to the yeast. spoon of granulated sugar, grind a little. Pour in the milk (it should be quite warm) and stir in half a glass of flour sifted through a sieve. Mix all the products for the dough, cover with a towel made of natural fabric (cotton or linen) and put it in a warm place for 50-60 minutes - the dough should noticeably increase in volume during this time.

2. When the dough is ready, mix in the melted butter, raw chicken egg, soda and the rest of the flour (which will need to be sifted through a sieve before doing this). Knead the dough to a fairly dense consistency, leave again in a warm place so that it rises well. Then divide it into portions of approximately 50 g and roll into round donuts, leave to rise.

3. Place oiled baking paper on a baking sheet and place the appropriate buns on it. Brush each with beaten egg using a silicone pastry brush and sprinkle with chopped almonds. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius until browned.

4. Cool the finished donuts, cut off the top of each one. Spread the bottom of the bun with jam or marmalade and top with whipped cream. Cover the filling with lids. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

  • flour – 600-800 g;
  • kefir – 1 l;
  • sugar - 1 tbsp. spoon;
  • soda and salt - 1 teaspoon each;
  • vegetable oil for frying.

Preparation

Pour the kefir into a large bowl, add sugar, salt and soda, and mix well. Then gradually pour the sifted flour into the bowl and knead the soft dough, if it sticks to your hands, add a little more flour, but do not knead too much, otherwise it will become like rubber.

Form the dough into a sausage, divide it into pieces and mold them into donuts. Make slits in each and place the finished donuts on a board sprinkled with flour. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the crumpets on both sides until golden brown.

Recipe for crumpets with sour cream

Ingredients:

  • sour cream – 500 g;
  • eggs – 3 pcs.;
  • flour – 800-900 g;
  • sugar - 7-8 tbsp. spoons;
  • soda – ½ teaspoon;
  • salt - a pinch;
  • poppy seeds for sprinkling;
  • vegetable oil.

Preparation

Mix sour cream, salt, 2 eggs, soda and sugar until smooth. Add flour little by little to this mixture and knead the dough; it should not be very stiff, but it should not stick to your hands either. Roll out the layer and cut it into strips 3-4 cm wide. Then cut the strips into pieces of any length.

Use a knife to make a hole in the middle of each rectangle and pull one piece of dough through it. Place the finished products on a greased baking sheet, brush them with beaten egg and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Donuts according to this recipe are cooked in the oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • curdled milk – 500 g;
  • dry yeast – 1 teaspoon;
  • honey - 4 tbsp. spoons;
  • flour – 3 tbsp;
  • salt – 1 teaspoon;

  • olive oil – 1 tbsp. spoon.

Preparation

Mix curdled milk, honey, dry yeast and salt. Gradually add flour to them and knead the dough. Cover it and place it in a warm place for 40 minutes. After this, take the dough with a tablespoon and use your fingers, previously dipped in olive oil, to form a round bun out of it.

Place the finished donuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Place the baking sheet in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20 minutes.

Donuts - a recipe made with water

This is a fairly simple crumpet recipe that takes literally 5-10 minutes to knead the dough.

Ingredients:

  • flour – 800 g;
  • water – 700 ml;
  • instant yeast - 1 tbsp. spoon;
  • salt and sugar - 1 tbsp. spoon;
  • sesame - to taste;
  • vegetable oil for lubrication.

Preparation

Pour the water, which should be warm, into a bowl, dissolve the yeast in it, then add sugar and salt. Mix everything well and then gradually add flour. Mix everything thoroughly again, then cover the dough with a lid and place in a warm place for 3-4 hours. During this time, stir it several times.

When the time is up, divide the dough into parts, place in molds and place in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

Honey crumpets with cinnamon

Ingredients:

For the dough

  • 25 g fresh yeast
  • 1 liter of warm milk
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of flour

Besides

  • 200 g butter
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of honey
  • 1 egg
  • Wheat flour
  • cinnamon sugar mixture

Preparation step by step:

1. Crumble fresh yeast into a bowl, add milk (it should never be hot, otherwise the yeast will not rise) and add the flour sifted through a sieve. Cover the bowl with a linen or cotton kitchen towel and place in a warm place to further proof.

2. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add liquid honey, keep on low heat until it boils, let the mixture simmer slightly. Cool the butter-honey mixture to 37 degrees Celsius (hot bath temperature), beat in the egg and stir.

3. Add the risen dough and enough flour to make a dough thick enough to hold a spoon. Take the dough to a warm room and let it rise for a while - wait until it doubles in volume.

4. When the dough has risen, punch it down, knead it, let it rise a little again and knead it again. Make balls from the dough and place them on a wide baking sheet at a distance from each other, let the donuts stand for a while and rise a little more.

5. On the surface of the molded buns, make cuts in the form of a mesh with a knife, sprinkle a mixture of sugar and ground cinnamon on top and bake in an oven preheated to 120 degrees Celsius until browned.
