Tips for properly cooking pasta

Pasta is a popular product that is used in different countries. Quick preparation, excellent taste and tangible benefits make them often consumed as a separate dish or in tandem with others. They are prepared in different ways, baked in the oven with minced meat, or simply boiled and topped with a separately prepared sauce.

Not to mention the fact that the content of vitamins E and B, vegetable protein and complex carbohydrates, potassium and phosphorus, magnesium and calcium provide enormous benefits to the body.

Step-by-step preparation

  1. Peel two large carrots and wash with running water.
  2. Cut the carrots into small thin strips. Take onion (1 piece), also peel and wash thoroughly. Then cut into half rings. Now let's take on the tomatoes (2 pcs.). They must first be peeled. To do this, make a cross-shaped cut on the top of the tomato. Then place the tomatoes in a bowl for a few minutes and pour boiling water over them. After this procedure, the skin will easily peel away from the tomato. Chop the peeled tomatoes into cubes. Heat the frying pan on the stove and pour in 1-2 tbsp. l. sunflower oil for frying vegetables.
  3. Pour carrots into a heated frying pan and lightly fry.
  4. Then add chopped onions and tomatoes.
  5. Stir, sprinkle with salt to taste and leave to simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. While the vegetables are stewing, let's start with the meat. Take chicken fillet (2 pieces), rinse with running water and place on a cutting board.
  7. Using a sharp knife, cut the meat into small pieces (cubes). You don’t have to cut it, but instead put it through a meat grinder, as you wish.
  8. The vegetables are stewed almost until soft, but they do not need to be brought to full readiness.
  9. Place vermicelli nests on the vegetables (6-8 pieces, as much as the frying pan allows).
  10. Place approximately 1-2 tsp of minced meat inside each nest.
  11. Salt and pepper to taste.
  12. And now we fill it with fill. As a filling we use 100-150 ml of liquid sour cream (can be diluted a little with water) and 1-2 cloves of garlic.
  13. Cover everything with a lid and leave to simmer over low heat for 25-30 minutes.
  14. Serve the dish immediately after preparing it, placing it in portions on plates. Pre-plates can be poured with tomato sauce and a thin slice of cheese. And put a nest of noodles on top of the cheese, so it will melt (at the temperature of just the cooked noodles) and give the dish additional taste and an interesting look.

How to cook delicious minced meat nests:

Let's start sculpting our meat cheesecakes. Minced meat (if frozen) - defrost. If you make fresh minced meat, then pass all the ingredients through a meat grinder and mix.

Place the minced meat in a deep bowl, add the egg, salt and ground pepper.

Then comes the semolina and the minced meat is thoroughly mixed. The prepared minced meat can be beaten a little by dumping it into a bowl.

Line a baking sheet with cling foil and place wells of minced meat. Make the meat edges higher so that the filling does not leak out.

Separately in a bowl we combine: eggs, mayonnaise and mustard. Mix with a fork.

And with the help of a large spoon we begin to fill the meat nests.

In addition to the meat holes, Catherine prepared delicious baked potatoes and baked them along with the meat holes. But in another recipe I’ll talk about preparing crumbly potatoes, and now let’s return to our delicious meat nests.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, cover the baking sheet on top with a second layer of foil and bake our dish for 50 minutes. While everything is baking, grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

And 10 minutes before cooking the meat nests, remove them from the oven, remove the top part of the foil, sprinkle each nest with cheese and put them back in the oven for the remaining 10 minutes. If you have an electric oven, set the fan mode and then our meat holes will become even more rosy and very attractive. And the aroma that spreads throughout the apartment is simply beyond words. Family members are already starting to come into the kitchen more and more often and wonder what mom is cooking)))

When the meat nests are ready, we take them out and prepare portioned plates. Place the meat nest on the middle of the plate, add baked potatoes (I’ll tell you how to cook them in the next issue of recipes) and decorate with fresh vegetables, such as tomatoes.

Of course, in all this splendor, a little fresh greenery is missing, but that’s not a big deal. Add greens as desired. Each of the household received such a rather impressive portion. Pasta nests with minced meat in the oven: step-by-step recipe

  • Egg noodles (nests) – 6 pcs.;
  • Minced pork – 180 g;
  • Onions – 1 pc.
  • Garlic – 1 clove;
  • Hard cheese – 70 g;
  • Tomato ketchup – 50 g;
  • Sour cream – 50 g;
  • Water – 0.5 l;
  • Salt, a mixture of ground peppers.

How to cook pasta nests with minced meat in the oven

Prepare everything you need. The oven pan must be chosen so that the nests fit tightly, otherwise they will spread out during the baking process; its height is also important; you should not use one that is too shallow.

Peel the onion and chop it with a knife. Add to the minced meat, add salt and a mixture of ground peppers.

To pour into a container of a suitable size, combine sour cream and ketchup, add finely chopped garlic, and season.

Stir and pour in a glass of cold water.

Dry and fragile pasta nests are difficult to fit tightly into the mold without breaking. To do this, each of them must be dipped in boiling water for a few seconds, this will soften the pasta.

Place the nests in a baking dish as close to each other as possible.

Divide the minced meat into 6 parts, make balls and place in the recesses.

Sprinkle with grated hard cheese. Pour over the prepared tomato-sour cream sauce. The liquid level should reach two-thirds of the height of the pasta nests. So, if the sauce is not enough, just add the required amount of water or broth.

Place in a preheated oven and bake on the top tier at 170 degrees for 25-30 minutes. During this time, the liquid will be completely absorbed into the noodles and they will become soft without losing their shape.

Serve the pasta nests with minced meat hot, in addition offer vegetables and fresh herbs.

Pasta nests with meat in sauce

Nests with minced meat are a delicious lunch or dinner that everyone will love. The dish is simple, but satisfying, and the nests look beautiful and appetizing on a plate. This dish is served in portions in one of the cafes where my son’s friend works. There, they also offer a snack to go with it. When my son suggested cooking this and serving it as a pair, I was at first surprised by this combination. But when I cooked it and tried it, it turned out to be very tasty. The appetizer contains half-smoked bacon, which complements the taste of not only the appetizer, but also the pasta. I also liked that you don’t need to cook the pasta separately. Here everything is cooked together in a frying pan and it’s not so troublesome.
