Recipe 2: minced meat nests with garlic
- Mixed minced meat (beef and pork) – 1 kg;
- Onions – 2 pcs.;
- Garlic – 1 tooth;
- Potatoes – 2 – 3 pcs.;
- Mushrooms – 400 gr.;
- Cheese – 150 gr.;
- Mayonnaise – 200 gr.;
- Salt, pepper - to taste.
We use homemade or purchased minced meat. Salt, pepper and add one onion and garlic pureed in a blender. Mix well. We divide it into large balls, which we place on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil. From each you need to make a cake with sides or a cup, as in the photo below.
Peel and grate the potatoes on a coarse grater. To prevent it from darkening, you can sprinkle it with lemon juice. We arrange them in our nests. Add a little salt on top.
Mushrooms, I have champignons, cut into plastic pieces. We also finely chop the remaining onion. Fry everything in a frying pan until golden brown. Then put it on our meat saucers
Drizzle mayonnaise on top. Then grate the cheese on a coarse grater and place it on top. Place in the oven preheated to 180° for about 30 minutes. Well, our dish is ready. And in fact, everything is simple and fast.
How to cook minced meat nests with eggs and cheese in the oven
First you need to prepare all the necessary ingredients. Mixed minced pork and beef is best suited for this dish. You can also use lean pork or poultry. If you don’t have a pound of quail eggs, you can take medium-sized chicken eggs. It is advisable to take refined vegetable oil. You can use any spices that go well with meat dishes. This can be ground black or red pepper, coriander, curry seasoning.
Finely chop the onion into cubes, then fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. Wash and chop the greens. Pour boiled water over the bread and, after soaking it, squeeze it out and pass the squeezed pieces through a meat grinder. Add onion, herbs and bread to the minced meat. Salt the minced meat, season with spices and mix thoroughly.
Pour kefir into the minced meat and mix again. The addition of this fermented milk product makes the minced meat softer and juicier.
Grease a baking dish of suitable size or a baking tray with sunflower oil. Divide the minced meat into 5 equal parts. Form a ball from each of these parts and place it in the mold. Then, using a teaspoon, make a depression in each ball and form sides. Grate the cheese onto a fine grater. Distribute it evenly into 5 “nests”.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Drive a quail egg into each “nest”. As you can see in the photo, there were even 2 yolks in large quail eggs, which gave the dish even more originality. If you are using chicken eggs, it is better to first break the egg into a cup and take out a little protein, and only then pour the remaining mass into the hole.
Place the pan in the oven and bake the meat nests with eggs and cheese for 40 minutes. Before serving the dish, decorate the meat nests with any greenery. The recipe with photo shows some design options for this dish. It is worth noting that it goes wonderfully with vegetables and salads made from them. It can also be served not as a separate dish, but along with some side dish, for example, boiled potatoes, rice or pasta.
We wish everyone bon appetit!
Recipe 3, step by step: meat nests with cheese
Today I want to bring to your attention a festive and everyday recipe. These are meat nests made from minced meat stuffed with tomatoes and cheese. The oven-baked dish is very tasty and beautiful. It will be able to please the eye and satisfy the gastronomic preferences of both the ordinary eater and the true gourmet. Try making these meat “cheesecakes” yourself, I’m sure your guests will be delighted.
- minced meat – 700 grams;
- onions - 1 large onion;
- chicken egg – 2 pieces;
- cheese – 150 grams;
- sour cream – 1 tablespoon;
- tomato – 1 piece;
- salt – 1 teaspoon;
- pepper mixture – 1 teaspoon.
The meat component of the dish is minced pork. It can be easily replaced with pork-beef or chicken-pork.
Peel the onion, cut into large pieces and chop in a food processor. If you make minced meat from pieces of meat, then the onion can also be passed through a meat grinder.
Add chopped onion, salt, a mixture of peppers and a chicken egg to the minced meat.
Mix everything well.
Break the egg into a separate plate.
Add a tablespoon of sour cream and grated cheese.
Add salt to taste to the sauce and mix everything.
Cut one large tomato into slices 4-5 millimeters thick.
Divide the minced meat in a bowl into equal parts with a knife, and then form balls of the same size from each. From each piece we make a meat cheesecake with sides 1 centimeter high.
We put a slice of tomato into the nests.
Put cheese sauce on the tomato.
Place the baking sheet in the oven and cook the dish at a temperature of 200-220 degrees for 45 minutes. Meat protein will leak out of the raw minced meat onto the baking sheet and curl, so the baking sheet should be covered with baking parchment.
Place the finished nests on portioned plates and serve with fresh vegetables or any other side dish.
The oven-baked dish turns out very juicy and tender.
Cooking method
Salt and pepper the minced meat and combine with two grated onions. Knead well and try to lightly beat it on the bowl or simply toss it from hand to hand. We divide the mass into 8 - 10 parts, roll them into balls and from each we form a nest with low sides. Place them on a baking sheet covered with baking paper and place them in a well-heated oven at 190 C for literally 15 minutes. While our nests are baking, we make the vegetable filling. To do this, mix vegetables cut into medium pieces with grated cheese, mayonnaise and stuff the semi-finished nests. Place them in the oven again for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and the minced meat is completely cooked. Bon appetit.
