Ingredients:
- Chicken drumstick – 12 pcs.
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Dried basil - 1 teaspoon (or other herbs to taste)
- Tomato sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil - for lubrication
- Salt, spices - to taste
Cooking process:
Wash the chicken legs and place in a deep dish. Salt, pepper and add spices to your taste. Mix well with your hands so that everything is evenly distributed.
Place tomato sauce (or pasta) in a deep dish. Add soy sauce, honey, basil and paprika. Mix everything thoroughly to obtain a homogeneous mixture.

Recipe 3: The easiest chicken legs in the oven
- Chicken legs – 8 pcs.;
- Spice mixture “for chicken” – 1 tablespoon;

- Mayonnaise – 2-3 tablespoons.
We carefully inspect the purchased chicken legs. If necessary, remove remaining feathers and yellow, rough skin and rinse well under cool running water. You can, of course, not soak the legs before baking, but I know that in production they are pricked with some kind of suspicious, in my opinion, solution (such as a nutrient) and by soaking them before cooking, I hope to wash off at least some part of this solution. But this is the harsh truth of modern life, and we won’t talk about the bad, and let’s get back to the recipe for making amazing chicken legs in the oven.
So, after soaking, the water must be drained. Salt and pepper the legs and add your favorite spices. In this case, my favorite is the chicken spice mixture - in my opinion, this mixture goes perfectly with chicken meat. The composition includes red sweet pepper, garlic, turmeric, coriander, ginger, fenugreek, chili, white mustard, cinnamon, Roman cumin, cloves, nutmeg. Rub the legs thoroughly with spices and leave for 10 minutes so that the meat is well saturated with aromas.
Now add mayonnaise and mix with your hands so that all the legs are well coated. If you have time, you can cover the container with cling film and leave the legs to marinate in mayonnaise in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours, or you can leave it overnight. If time is limited, just coat the legs with mayonnaise and immediately proceed to the next step.
Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and place chicken legs on it. Place in the oven and bake for approximately 45 minutes at 200 degrees. Baking time depends on the size of the legs. From time to time, baste the legs with the released fat and mayonnaise from the bottom of the baking sheet.
When the legs acquire an appetizing golden crust, pierce the meat with a knife in the thickest place near the bone and move the knife a little to the side. If pinkish juice comes out, continue baking. And if the broth is white, then the legs are most likely already ready. Turn off the oven and after 5 minutes remove the legs. How to bake chicken legs in a baking bag (sleeve)?
If you want to please yourself and your loved ones with tasty and juicy meat, you should use a baking bag (sleeve). In it, the products are baked evenly and are very aromatic.
Ingredients:
- Chicken drumstick – 8 pcs.
- Garlic – 2 cloves.
- Rosemary – 1 sprig.
- Black pepper - to taste.
- Paprika - to taste.
- Salt - to taste.
Cooking process:
- We wash the chicken drumsticks and get rid of excess moisture with paper towels.
- Peel the garlic and pass through a garlic press or three on a fine grater.
- Place the meat in a deep container, add garlic, spices, and salt. Mix with your hands until all the legs are evenly coated with seasonings.

- plum marinade for chicken “Torchin” - 175 g (if desired, can be replaced with ketchup).
Cooking process:
- Wash the chicken legs and dry with a paper towel.
- Add ketchup and plum marinade to the chicken legs (plum marinade can be replaced with 100-150 ml of ketchup, salt and ground black pepper to taste), mix thoroughly. Leave to marinate for 1-2 hours in the refrigerator, covering the bowl with cling film.
- Rinse the rice well with cold water (at least 7 times) until the water runs clear. Add salt to taste, sweet paprika and turmeric to the washed rice and mix.
- Place the rice on a large baking sheet greased with vegetable oil and pour boiling water over it. Next, place the marinated chicken legs on the rice.
- Bake chicken legs with rice in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 40-45 minutes (if all the water has evaporated and the rice is not ready yet, add a little more boiling water).
- Chicken legs and rice cooked in the oven are served hot, supplemented with fresh herbs and vegetables.
