  1. The first step is to soak the chicken semi-finished products in water for 2 hours. During this time, it is advisable to change the water 3 times. This is necessary to soak out a large amount of harmful substances contained in chicken (for fattening which, as a rule, antibiotics are used). If you have a domestic bird, this step can be omitted.
  2. Next, dry the legs on paper towels, put them in a pan or other convenient container and mix with salt, seasonings and 2/3 of mayonnaise (cream). If desired, you can also add chopped garlic.
  3. Cover the pan with a lid or wrap it in cling film and leave to soak in a cold place for 1-1.5 hours.
  4. At this time, you need to cut the vegetables: onions into half rings, carrots and potatoes into thin circles and mix them with the remaining mayonnaise or cream. Separately, cut the tomatoes into slices and set aside.

  • garlic – 2 cloves;
  • salt, sweet paprika - to taste;
  • mayonnaise, homemade yogurt.

Preparation:

  • Cut the chicken legs in half and marinate in a mixture of grated onions and apples for several hours.
  • Peel the potatoes and cut into 4 parts.
  • Remove the seeds from the pepper and cut into large pieces.
  • Peel the zucchini if ​​they are not young. Remove seeds and cut into 2 cm thick cubes.
  • Mix mayonnaise with yogurt and rub garlic into the sauce.
  • Place chicken, free of marinade, potatoes, zucchini and peppers in a baking tray. Add salt, pepper and mix.
  • Sprinkle the legs with vegetables with corn and pour over the sauce.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake the legs with vegetables for 40-50 minutes.

So that the legs are soaked in mayonnaise, but not too greasy, it is mixed with yogurt and a thin mesh is made using a culinary syringe or a bag with a small hole in the corner.

  • Soy-honey. To prepare it, take 4 tbsp. l. soy sauce, 1 tbsp. l. honey, 3 cloves of fresh garlic, a small pinch of salt and ground black pepper. Place all products in a bowl. Whisk until emulsified. Thanks to tartaric and acetic acid, chicken legs will become incredibly soft. And black pepper and mustard will make the dish taste piquant.
  • Kefir. It is prepared from low-fat kefir (250 ml), garlic (2-3 cloves), onion (1/2 small head), lemon juice (2 tbsp.), hot chili pepper or Tabasco sauce (to taste), finely chopped salt (1 level tsp), a mixture of peppers and dried ground thyme (1/2 tsp each). Pass the garlic through a press. Finely chop the onion or turn it into a paste using a blender. Squeeze a little juice from the lemon and filter to remove the pulp and seeds. Remove the seeds from the lily pepper and chop it with a knife. To obtain a moderately spicy taste, you will need a quarter of a medium pod. You can pepper with a teaspoon of Tabasco sauce. Add and pour all ingredients into kefir and mix. The original marinating mixture is ready!

Important point.

If you plan to leave the legs in the marinade for 2-12 hours, then it is better to add salt immediately before baking. Otherwise, the chicken may become tough and not at all juicy.

Chicken legs with potatoes - a simple recipe

  • Prepare the marinade: grate the apple, garlic, add mustard, salt, a spoonful of oil, lemon juice and add curry.
  • Coat the legs with marinade and place them in an airtight bag for at least half an hour.
  • Peel the potatoes, cut in half lengthwise.
  • Sprinkle the potatoes with salt, add paprika and a spoonful of oil.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
