Among the variety of meat dishes, a special place is given to chops. Their name speaks for itself. The product is a chopped piece of meat, fried in a frying pan or baked in the oven.

The chop can be made from beef, veal, pork and even chicken. Breast is best for chicken chops. This meaty part of the chicken carcass is famous for its lack of fat, tendons, and bones.

But with all these advantages, the finished breast meat often turns out to be a bit dry. Beating breaks down the fibers and reduces the thickness of the piece, so the meat cooks much faster and therefore does not have time to dry out.

Chicken chops - a classic recipe in the oven

Chicken fillet chops in the oven are a universal dish that will decorate the holiday table and delight loved ones for dinner.

Ingredients:

  • chicken fillet – 700 g;
  • tomatoes – 6 pcs.;
  • bulb;
  • mayonnaise – 5 tbsp. spoon;
  • cheese – 270 g;
  • black pepper – 0.5 teaspoon;
  • salt.

Preparation:

  1. Cut the meat crosswise into two parts.
  2. Place on a kitchen board, first wrapping it in cling film. Using a mallet, beat on one side, then on the other.
  3. Grease a baking sheet with oil. Place the meat in one layer.
  4. Add some salt. Sprinkle with pepper.
  5. Coat each piece with mayonnaise, leveling it over the surface with a spoon.
  6. Chop the onion and sprinkle over the meat.
  7. Cut the tomatoes into rings and place on the onion.
  8. Grind the cheese using a coarse grater. Sprinkle tomatoes.
  9. Place in the oven, set the temperature to 180 degrees.
  10. Remove after 20 minutes.
  11. Serve on portioned plates, garnished with herbs.

Chicken chops with onions and cheese in the oven

Ingredients:

  • chicken fillet – 600 g;
  • onion – 120 g;
  • egg – 1 pc.;
  • flour – 30–40 g;
  • milk – 50 ml;
  • cheese – 120 g;
  • salt;
  • vegetable oil – 20 g;
  • chopped dill – 1 tsp.

Cooking method

  • Cut the fillet lengthwise into 2 slices, cover with film, beat with a hammer, making them a little thinner.
  • Break an egg into a bowl, pour in milk, add salt and flour. Stir thoroughly. Add the greens and mix well again.
  • Chop the onion into thin rings and grate the cheese on a medium grater.
  • Grease a baking tray generously with oil. Dip a slice of chopped meat into the batter and place on a baking sheet. Place a few onion rings on it. Cover with grated cheese. Build the rest of the chops in the same way.
  • Place in a preheated oven. Bake for 25–30 minutes.

With tomatoes

It is good to serve this dish with potatoes or stewed vegetable stew as a side dish.

Ingredients:

  • chicken fillet – 450 g;
  • bulb;
  • mayonnaise – 5 tbsp. spoon;
  • dry basil – 1 teaspoon;
  • seasoning for chicken - 1 teaspoon;
  • tomatoes – 2 pcs.;
  • cheese – 80 g;
  • salt.

Preparation:

  1. Cut the meat component into two parts along the fillet.
  2. Cover with cling film.
  3. Beat with a mallet.
  4. Remove the film.
  5. Place in a container, pour mayonnaise. Sprinkle with salt and spices. Mix. Set aside for half an hour.
  6. Cover a baking sheet with foil.
  7. Place meat.
  8. Peel the onion and cut into rings. Place on fillet.
  9. Cut the tomatoes into rings. Place on meat.
  10. Cover with a layer of mayonnaise.
  11. Grate the cheese and sprinkle on top.
  12. Cook at 200 degrees. To make the dish tender and juicy, the main thing is not to overcook it. Bake for no more than 20 minutes.

To prepare a chicken chop in the oven according to any of the recipes, carry out the preparatory work:

  1. Defrost the chicken (if the product is frozen).
  2. Cut pieces for future chops, soak them, and carefully beat them.
  3. Vegetables and greens are washed with cool water and cleaned.

Salt and spices are used to taste. All recipes contain ingredients for 4 servings. The oven is heated in advance, the recommended temperature is 180-200 degrees.

With tomatoes

A more complex recipe, suitable even for a holiday table.

For preparation you need:

  • chicken fillet – 600 g;
  • tomatoes – 2-3 pcs.;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • garlic – 2 cloves;
  • egg – 1 pc.

Cooking process:

  1. Finely chop the onion.
  2. Break the egg, beat gently, squeeze the garlic into it, add chopped onion, mix.
  3. Cut the tomatoes into circles.
  4. Brush the chops with the egg and spices (reserving a little of the egg mixture) and place on foil.
  5. Place tomato slices on top.
  6. Brush the top with the egg and spice mixture again.
  7. “Seal” the foil and place in the oven.

Peculiarity! Chicken goes well with any side dish. People on a diet can combine it with hot dishes or vegetable salads, brown rice, and buckwheat.

With cheese

Hard cheese goes well with tender chicken breast. But this is a fairly high-calorie product, so use it in moderation. The chops are cooked in the oven, as in the classic recipe.

Chicken fillet chops in batter

This dish is usually prepared in a frying pan, but if you use the oven, the chops will turn out much tastier, and the batter will be more tender and airy.

Ingredients:

  • chicken breast – 2 pcs.;
  • seasoning – 0.5 teaspoon;
  • water – 4 tbsp. spoons;
  • freshly ground pepper;
  • flour – 6 tbsp. spoon;
  • egg – 2 pcs.;
  • salt.

Preparation:

  1. Wash the breast and dry with a paper towel.
  2. Wrap in cling film. Beat it off.
  3. Beat the eggs in a separate container. Pour the water. Add seasoning, salt. Stir until the mixture becomes as thick as thick sour cream. To do this, add flour in parts, stirring vigorously. The batter is ready.
  4. Sprinkle pepper and lightly salt on the meat.
  5. Dip each piece in batter.
  6. Place on a baking sheet. Bake until done in the oven at 200 degrees.

Chicken fillet chops in the oven with tomatoes and cheese

Chicken chops in the oven, breaded chicken legs recipe

These wonderful chicken chops are made from boneless legs. Yes, you can find these on sale, they are good to stuff, as I prepared here, but there is also a simpler and no less interesting cooking option. You can remove the bones from the legs yourself.

Recipe

Defrost the boneless chicken legs completely. Cut them lengthwise into 2 parts. Beat them a little, rub them with crushed garlic, sprinkle with salt, pepper and meat seasoning.

For the first breading, mix crackers, ground nuts and finely grated cheese. If there are no crackers available, take slices of the loaf, dry it in a toaster and grind it.

For the second breading , beat the eggs, add ketchup and adjika.

Prepare a baking sheet, grease it with vegetable oil. Turn on the oven.

Dredge the chicken pieces in the first breading, then in the second, and then again in the first. Place on a baking sheet. We do the same with the rest of the chicken.

You can put quite a few pieces of chicken on a large baking sheet and feed a lot of guests.

Bake at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes. During this time, you need to carefully turn the chicken over with a spatula a couple of times. During the entire baking time, add a little water to the baking sheet so that the chicken does not burn.

  • mayonnaise – 150 ml;
  • pickled cucumber – 1 pc.;
  • horseradish;
  • mustard;
  • pepper;
  • salt.

Preparation:

  1. Rinse the fillet and dry with napkins. Cut into three parts.
  2. Beat it off.
  3. Mix the egg.
  4. Place crackers on a plate.
  5. Dip the meat in the egg, then in breadcrumbs.
  6. Place on a baking sheet. Cook for half an hour at 200 degrees.

Sauce:

  1. Slice the cucumber; if the peel is thick, it must be cut off.
  2. Mix all products.
  3. Drizzle over cooked chops.

Chops with mushrooms

For cooking, you can use wild mushrooms, which must be boiled in advance, or champignons, which do not require pre-treatment.

Ingredients:

  • chicken breast – 2 pcs.;
  • wild mushrooms – 400 g;
  • frying oil;
  • sour cream – 100 g;
  • onion – 2 pcs.;
  • cheese – 200 g;
  • pepper;
  • salt.

Preparation:

  1. Heat a frying pan, add oil. Add mushrooms and fry.
  2. Chop the onion, add to the mushrooms, add salt.
  3. Cook until the moisture has completely evaporated.
  4. Cut the chicken into thin strips and beat. To do this, use cling film. The meat is tender, so no force should be applied. Add some salt. Sprinkle with pepper. Stir.
  5. Transfer the mushrooms to a plate and cool.
  6. Place baking paper on a baking sheet. Place the fillet.
  7. Place the mushrooms in a mound.
  8. Grease with sour cream.
  9. Grate the cheese and sprinkle on top.

  • pineapple – 7 rings;
  • vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. spoons;
  • mayonnaise;
  • salt.

Preparation:

  1. Cut each piece of meat in half.
  2. Beat it off. Spice up. Add some salt.
  3. Place chicken meat tightly together on a baking sheet.
  4. Cut the olives.
  5. Place pineapples and olives on the sirloin.
  6. Grate cheese and sprinkle.
  7. On top is a layer of mayonnaise.

  • pineapples – 170 g;
  • mayonnaise or sour cream – 200 g;
  • onions – 2 pcs.;
  • hard cheese – 170 g;
  • apple cider vinegar;
  • spices;
  • salt.

Preparation:

  1. Rinse the meat and pound it. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  2. Peeled onion, cut into rings. Sprinkle vinegar on top and stir.
  3. Cut the tomatoes into circles.
  4. Grate the cheese on a medium grater.
  5. Cut the pineapple.
  6. Line a baking sheet with foil. Arrange the fillet. Grease with mayonnaise (sour cream).
  7. Place onion on meat.
  8. Place tomatoes on top.
  9. Add pineapple. Grease with a layer of mayonnaise (sour cream).
  10. Add cheese.
  11. Cover with foil, securing the edges. Place in the oven for 50 minutes. Temperature 180 degrees.

How to cook Chicken Chops in the Oven

Cut the chicken fillet into 1 centimeter thick pieces.

Lightly tap with a hammer.

Salt and pepper and leave for half an hour.

Meanwhile, wash and chop the mushrooms.

Fry them until golden brown in a small amount of well-heated butter.

Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil. Bread the chops in flour and quickly fry on both sides.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

Place chops on a greased baking sheet. Grease with sour cream. Place mushrooms on top and sprinkle with cheese.
