First, distribute the cauliflower, coat it with sour cream and sprinkle with grated cheese and seasonings to taste. The second layer is fried chicken with onions. We also cover the layer with sour cream and sprinkle with spices and fresh herbs. Place the pan in a well-heated oven and bake the chicken and cauliflower at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.

Cauliflower baked in cream

Ingredients:

  • fresh cauliflower – 400 g;
  • spices;
  • cheese – 200 g;
  • cream 33% – 400 ml.

Preparation

So, to prepare baked cauliflower, grate the cheese and pour in a small amount of cream. We process the cauliflower and separate it into small inflorescences. If you have it frozen, then you don’t need to do anything. Next, take a saucepan, fill it with filtered water and boil. Then carefully toss in the cabbage and cook until half cooked for 5 minutes. Then carefully place it on a sieve and wait until all the liquid has drained. Now place the cabbage in a small baking tray and pour the creamy mixture with cheese evenly over it. Place the dish in the oven and bake at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes. As soon as the vegetable is covered with a golden brown crust, remove the cabbage and serve with any side dish of your choice. You can also bake cauliflower in a slow cooker on the appropriate setting. Before serving, decorate the dish with finely chopped fresh dill or parsley.

How to cook chicken and cauliflower stew?

First of all, it is important to purchase high-quality ingredients for the future dish. Cream sauce is made from heavy cream, but if you are on a weight loss diet, you can use 10-15% product.

If desired, the cream can be replaced with kefir or sour cream. In the first case, the dish will become even more dietary, and in the second, it will acquire piquant flavor notes. If you add sour cream, the stew can be varied with mushrooms.

It is advisable to buy fresh cauliflower, but frozen will do. Please note that if the vegetable is fresh, it requires preliminary boiling for 10-15 minutes.

Preparation

Wash and dry the chicken fillet with a paper towel and cut into cubes. Fry the meat in olive oil for 10 minutes. Place in a separate bowl. Wash the cauliflower, separate it into small florets and fry until golden brown over low heat. Cut the zucchini and onion into small cubes. Add cabbage to the vegetables, salt and pepper. Mix everything well and fry a little. Place the chicken pieces with the vegetables, add broth, bring to a boil and simmer for 25 minutes. Add sour cream, mix, sprinkle with grated cheese and remove from heat. Let the dish brew and serve delicious stewed cabbage with chicken to the table.

Chicken fillet with cauliflower

Ingredients:

  • chicken breasts – 2 pcs.;
  • cauliflower – 400 g;
  • cream (fat content 30%) – 50 ml;
  • olive oil – 3 tbsp. spoons;
  • lemon zest – 1 teaspoon;
  • almonds – 50 g;
  • green olives – 5 pcs.;
  • parsley – 1 bunch;
  • salt;
  • pepper.

Preparation

Cut the chicken breast into strips, add salt and pepper. Season with a tablespoon of oil and lemon zest. Marinate for 15 minutes. Divide the cabbage into florets and fry in olive oil until golden brown. Separately, fry the chicken meat until it turns white, combine it with cabbage. Pour boiling water over the almonds for a few minutes to make it easier to remove the skin. Grind the nuts into crumbs using a blender. Add parsley, pitted olives, a tablespoon of oil to the bowl and mix until smooth using a blender. Add the resulting mixture to the chicken and cabbage, stir and simmer for 7 minutes with the lid closed. Pour in the cream, bring to a boil and remove from heat. The dish can be served without a side dish.

How to make a salad with chicken and cauliflower florets at home

  • Boil the chicken as usual. To do this, rinse the breast or thigh, fill a saucepan of a suitable size with water and place on high heat.
  • As soon as the water boils, remove the resulting foam with a spoon or slotted spoon and reduce the heat to low. Add spices and vegetables for the broth. Chicken goes well with thyme and bay leaf. Don't forget about carrots, onions and celery. Cook for about 30 minutes.
  • Then, if necessary, add a little water so that the meat is completely covered and add salt. Let it bubble for another 15 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat and cool the chicken directly in the broth. It is very convenient to do all these preparations in advance.

In the same way, you can bake the chicken in the oven in foil or use a slow cooker. In the first case, rub the bird with spices, wrap it tightly in foil with the shiny side inward and bake for half an hour at 180 degrees. For a multicooker, load all the components and turn on the “Soup” or “Stew” mode. Don't forget to remove the foam on time.

  • Boil the eggs in the usual way. Place them in cold water, bring to a boil and leave on the stove for another 5-7 minutes. Cool immediately.
  • Prepare cauliflower using one of the methods described above.
  • Wash the cucumber, wipe it and cut it into small cubes. For this salad, one long vegetable or 2-3 small ones are suitable.
  • Wash the greens, dry and finely chop.

One of the secrets of the salad is that there should be a lot of greens. We take any to taste or even a mixture: dill, parsley, cilantro, tarragon, green onions and so on.

  • Peel the garlic from coarse husks and chop it with a knife or using a press.
  • Cut the chicken and eggs into pieces, and, if necessary, separate the cabbage into smaller florets.

  • Mix all ingredients, pepper and salt if necessary. Season with mayonnaise and serve immediately.
