Puff pastry pie is good for its simplicity and speed of preparation. The whole process comes down to the formation of a simple filling, because the dough is used that has already been prepared in advance or purchased. We bring to your attention the option of a quick, but at the same time appetizing and satisfying baked goods with cheese, which can be used either as an independent dish or as an addition to the main meal.

Ingredients:

  • cheese - 350-400 g;
  • puff pastry (yeast) - 300 g;
  • egg yolk (for greasing the dough) - 1 pc.;
  • sour cream or mayonnaise - 4-5 tbsp. spoons

How to cook:

Since we are using ready-made dough, we start with the filling. Grate the entire portion of cheese on a coarse grater. In this case, any cheese is suitable for the pie, the main thing is that it is not too salty.

Transfer the cheese mass into a convenient bowl, add sour cream/mayonnaise and mix thoroughly. The filling should become a uniform and plastic mixture. If the mass turns out to be crumbly and dry, add a little more sour cream or mayonnaise.


Lightly rub a mold with a diameter of 20-22 cm with butter or cover it with parchment. Let's start the test. It is better to remove it from the freezer in the evening, leaving it in the refrigerator overnight. Using this method, the puff base becomes as “pliable” as possible, simplifying the cooking process. Roll out the defrosted dough into a thin flat cake and distribute it over the pan, leaving a border on the sides.


Place the cheese filling on the layered base of the future pie. Distribute in an even layer without gaps.


Fold the sides of the dough to the filling and coat with raw yolk mixed with 1 tbsp. spoon of water to form a golden brown crust.


Place the pan in the preheated oven. Bake the puff pastry cheese pie at 180 degrees for about 20-30 minutes. We determine readiness by the formation of a golden hue.


After cooling completely, remove the baked goods from the pan. You can serve the pie either cold or warm, by slightly heating portions of the finished baked goods in the microwave.

  1. Grate 300 g of cheese on a coarse grater. Cut 300 g of ham into strips.
  2. Gently mix the ham and cheese in one container.
  3. Roll out the dough (1.0 kg) with a rolling pin and cut into equal rectangles. A kilogram makes 20 servings (the size and shape of the puffs is at your discretion).
  4. Place the ham and cheese mixture on half of each rectangle.
  5. Cover the filling with the other half of the rectangle. Using a fork, firmly secure the dough around the edge.
  6. Place the puff pastries on a baking sheet, having previously covered it with parchment. We make 3 cuts on each pie.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the oven, heated to 180ºC, for 20 minutes.
  8. Melt some butter. Brush each puff pastry with melted butter.

Ingredients:

  • Puff pastry dough - 400 grams;
  • Hard cheese - 150 grams;

In order to prepare a puff pie with cheese and herbs quickly, I suggest using ready-made puff pastry. Since it is usually sold frozen, it needs 1.5-2 hours to defrost thoroughly before cooking. While the dough is defrosting, you can prepare the filling. Wash the greens and dry them well with a towel or paper napkins, then finely chop them

Grate the hard cheese into a separate plate. Whether you grate it coarsely or finely doesn’t really matter, so choose for yourself how to do it. Mash the cheese or feta with a fork, beat one egg into the same bowl, stir and add grated cheese with chopped herbs, and then mix again. You shouldn’t add salt to the filling; the cheeses already contain salt, so you can simply over-salt and ruin the pie. Cut the sheets of finished dough into strips about 10 cm wide (if necessary, roll out the dough a little with a rolling pin). Place the filling on the resulting strips, carefully roll the dough, pinching the edges well. Take any baking pan of suitable size and line it with parchment paper. Carefully, starting from the center, place the resulting “sausages” into the baking dish, turning them seam side down. To prevent the filling from leaking out of the future pie, the joints of the “sausages” (if there are several of them) must be pinched very carefully. To make the cake look better after baking and brown well, brush it with a lightly beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. You need to put the pie in a very well-heated oven (about 200 degrees), and bake for about 30-40 minutes.

Both adults and children like processed cheese in baked goods. The cheese puffs turn out very tender and satisfying. It is recommended to serve hot; melted, stretchy cheese is much tastier than cooled cheese.

  • ready-made puff pastry (homemade or store-bought) - 300 g;

  • milk - 1 table. l.;

For the filling, mix grated hard and soft processed cheese. Roll out the layer of rolled out dough and cut into squares.

Place 1-2 tablespoons of filling into each square, pinch the edges to form envelopes. Beat the egg with milk and brush the puff pastries with it. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. A quarter of an hour is enough for baking - as soon as the dough acquires an appetizing golden color, the buns can be considered ready.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Grate the cheese on a medium-sized grater. Lightly roll out one rectangle of dough. Place the prepared cheese on it, leaving a border of about 1.5 cm on each side. Cover with a second sheet of dough, rolled out to the same size. Seal the edges, brush the top of the pie with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake the pie in the oven for 15-20 minutes.   1. Defrost 500 g of puff pastry for an hour.
  2. Cut the cheese (about 200 grams) into thin triangular slices.
  3. Roll out the dough a little in all directions with a rolling pin.
  4. We cut each layer into 4 squares (it will be convenient to use a serrated dough knife).
  5. Mentally draw a diagonal through the opposite vertices of the square, dividing it into triangles.
  6. Place a plate of cheese on one of them. If desired, you can add a small piece of butter and a little garlic to the filling. On the other triangle we make 3 transverse cuts.
  7. Bend the square into a triangle and carefully pinch the edges. For greater effect, you can run the tines of a fork along the edge - then the pies will not come apart at the seams during baking.
  8. We cut all the products in the same way. Place the puff pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
  9. Beat the egg. Gently coat each puff pastry with beaten egg.
  10. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  11. Place the baking sheet in the oven, preheated to 180ºC, for 15 minutes until a beautiful golden hue is obtained.

Ingredients:

  • Puff pastry – 500 g;
  • Champignons – 500 g;
  • Hard cheese – 80 g;
  • Leek – 1 pc.;
  • Chicken egg – 2 pcs.;
  • Sour cream – 60 g;
  • Butter – 60 g.

Wash the mushrooms, dry them and cut into slices. In a deep saucepan without oil, simmer the mushrooms until boiled. Cut the onion (soft parts) into rings and fry separately in butter. Then mix with mushrooms, season and simmer a little more. Beat eggs, add sour cream and spices.

Place the rolled out layer of dough into the prepared pan, making small sides. Place the filling on top, pour in the egg mixture and grate the cheese. Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown.

The filling for these pies is prepared from simple ingredients. Despite this, the dish turns out juicy and tasty. The peculiarity of such baking is the combination of green and onions. Greens also play a role. Dill, for example, gives more flavor than parsley. For this baking you need to take:

  • a large head of onion;
  • seven eggs;
  • 500 grams of dough;
  • 50 grams of green onions;
  • 30 grams of any greens;
  • A little vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

First, peel the onion and cut it into strips. Heat the vegetable oil and fry the ingredient in it until golden brown. Finely chop the green onions, add them to the frying pan, stir quickly and put everything into a bowl. The eggs are peeled, chopped into small cubes, and added to the onion. The greens are washed, chopped and added to the rest of the ingredients.

The dough is rolled out and cut into rectangles. The filling is placed on one side of the workpiece. Close the pie, carefully securing the edges. Lubricate the workpieces with oil.

Place parchment on a baking sheet and place pies on it. Bake in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees. Cook for about fifteen minutes.

A hearty breakfast can also be prepared very quickly. You don't need many ingredients for this. For example, boring sandwiches with cheese and sausage can be replaced with puff pastries with the same ingredients. 1. Thaw the puff pastry. I took the yeast-free one.

2. Place the cottage cheese in a deep bowl, add the eggs. Mix well until smooth.

Place it on a table sprinkled with flour, sprinkle flour on top too and roll it out a little larger than the size of the mold.

Ingredients:

  • Puff pastry - 400 g;
  • Tomato - 2 pcs.;
  • Mozzarella - 100 g;
  • Parmesan - 50 g;
  • Fresh basil – 50 g;
  • Garlic - 2 cloves;
  • Pine nuts – 20 g;
  • Olive oil - 80 ml.

Without rolling out or defrosting, cut the layers of dough into a circle shape - you need two layers. Set aside to melt. Grind the basil in a blender. Add, then chop garlic, pine nuts and Parmesan cheese. Combine all ingredients together, add olive oil, mix thoroughly. Add salt to taste.

Cut tomatoes and mozzarella into thin equal slices. On each of the (melted) circles, place overlapping circles of tomatoes and mozzarella. Bake each layer on the prepared baking sheet for 20 minutes. Apply basil sauce generously to one of the hot cooked circles and cover with a second layer.

Puff pastry with banana and strawberries

This option will please those with a real sweet tooth. It’s especially delicious to make this dessert during strawberry season. For cooking you need to prepare the following products:

  • one banana;
  • six berries;
  • 150 grams of dough;
  • One yolk;
  • A little powdered sugar - to taste.

The berries are washed and then dried. Cut into halves. The banana is peeled and cut into circles. The dough is rolled out and cut into rectangles. Cuts are made from the sides, not reaching the middle. Place banana slices on the whole center. Berries are placed on it. Fold the side pieces of dough crosswise. Beat the yolk and coat the berry puffs with it. Bake the puff pastries for about twelve minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
