Honestly, this dish has always been one of my favorites and I have not changed the traditional recipe for many years, and then I became interested in how to cook new potatoes using other products .

Ingredients

  • 0.5 kg new potatoes
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 bundle dill
  • salt, pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut large fruits into several pieces. Fill with water, add salt and cook for 25 minutes after boiling.
  2. Drain the water, add oil and chopped dill to the potatoes. Sprinkle with pepper and serve new potatoes with dill.

We will cook new potatoes

For this we need:

  1. Young potatoes 1-1.5 kg.
  2. Lard 100 gr.
  3. Butter 70 gr.
  4. Dill 1 bunch
  5. Garlic 5-6 cloves
  6. Salt to taste.

Potatoes in this recipe can be used in any size. I take the smallest one.

Place lard in a heated frying pan (without oil).

Fry the lard until it turns into cracklings, turn off the heat under the frying pan.

Throw butter into the rendered lard. The oil will dissolve.

Finely chop the garlic.

Add garlic to the mixture of oil and lard, stir, wait a couple of minutes for the garlic to give up its spirit.

Finely chop the dill. We don't use stems.

Drain all the water from the finished boiled potatoes.

Pour the contents of the pan into the potatoes.

Add greens to young potatoes .

Cover the pan with a lid and shake lightly to mix the contents.

  • 1 kg new potatoes
  • 1.5 tsp. salt
  • 1.5 tsp. Italian herbs
  • 2 tbsp. l. olive oil

Preparation

  1. Peel the potatoes. If it is large, cut into several pieces.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and Italian herbs. Drizzle with oil. Mix everything well and pour into a baking dish.
  3. Place in the oven for 35–40 minutes at 220°C.

With onion

Ingredients

  • 0.5 kg new potatoes
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 tbsp. l. sunflower oil
  • 2 teeth garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 0.5 bunch. greenery
  • salt, pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Use small potatoes in cooking. Fill it with water and wash it.
  2. Cook for 8 minutes after boiling. Drain the water.
  3. Heat butter and sunflower oil in a frying pan. Transfer the potatoes to the pan. Fry until golden.
  4. Separately, fry the chopped garlic and onion in half rings. Mix with potatoes 5 minutes before the bulba is ready. Sprinkle with chopped herbs.

Baked new potatoes with suluguni cheese

Ingredients for new potatoes in the oven with cheese:

  • small new potatoes - 1 kilogram;
  • suluguni cheese – 200 grams;
  • butter – 50-60 grams;
  • garlic – 4-5 cloves;
  • salt, herbs to taste.

Prepare new potatoes baked in the oven with suluguni:

  1. Place the peeled potatoes into pre-salted boiling water.
  2. We use the usual method of boiling potatoes. Cook for 15 minutes. Drain the water and let the potatoes dry.
  3. Melt butter in a frying pan. Add crushed garlic. Keep the mixture on the heat in the frying pan for about 20 seconds to infuse the oil with the aroma of the spice.
  4. Place the new potatoes on a baking dish. Pour aromatic oil on top.
  5. Cut the suluguni cheese into rough pieces up to 15 mm. Place on top of potatoes.
  6. To fully prepare your new potato dish, bake it until all the cheese is melted and has a light crust. It is better to bake at 200°C.

With garlic and Provençal herbs

  • 0.5 kg new potatoes
  • 3 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 3 teeth garlic
  • salt, pepper, Provençal herbs to taste

Preparation

  1. Wash the potatoes. You don't have to clean it. Cut large fruits in half.
  2. Add finely chopped garlic, salt, pepper, Provençal herbs and oil. Mix well and leave for 20 minutes.
  3. Bake new potatoes with garlic for 40 minutes at 200°C, without covering the dish with potatoes with foil.

Mexican jacket potatoes

If all the usual recipes are boring, you can cook something exotic. For example, Mexican potatoes. And if you serve it with avocado sauce, it will be simply impossible to tear yourself away.

Ingredients:

  • 500 gr. potatoes;
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil;
  • 2 chili peppers;
  • ground paprika;
  • sun-dried tomatoes;
  • 1 bell pepper;
  • black pepper;
  • salt;
  • 1 avocado;
  • 1 tomato;
  • 1 clove of garlic;
  • lemon juice;
  • cilantro.

How to bake in the oven:

  1. Wash the root vegetables. You can cut them into slices, or you can bake them whole. If the potatoes are small, it is better to leave them whole.
  2. Grind the chili pepper in a blender, mix with olive oil and paprika to make a dressing.
  3. Peel the bell pepper from the stalk and seeds, cut into strips.
  4. Chop the sun-dried tomatoes and bake them along with potatoes and bell peppers.
  5. Pour the hot dressing over the tubers, stir and leave for 10 minutes.
  6. Place in a baking dish or heavy-bottomed frying pan.
  7. Bake for 35 minutes.

While the tubers are baking, you can prepare avocado sauce - guacamole. This sauce is considered traditional in Mexico and goes great with potatoes.

Preparing sauce for potatoes:

  1. It is better to take a soft avocado. The hard fruits are not yet ripe, and they are not as tasty.
  2. Peel and pit the avocado, cut into slices;
  3. Peel the tomatoes and chop them as well;
  4. Peel the garlic;
  5. Chop the cilantro;
  6. Mix all ingredients together and puree in a blender until smooth;

  • 0.5 bunch. greenery

Preparation

  1. Peel the new potatoes and roughly chop them. Fill with cold water for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain the water. Add salt, paprika and pepper, pressed garlic and sunflower oil. Stir and leave for 10 minutes.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment, transfer the potatoes onto it and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes at 200°C. Before serving, sprinkle the new potatoes and cheese with chopped herbs.

Chicken with new potatoes recipe

Ingredients: 800 g new potatoes salt 400 g chicken breast fillet 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil 100 ml pineapple juice pepper 1 tsp. curry powder 1 mango Instructions: Wash the potatoes and cook in salted water for 20 minutes. Peel and let cool. Cut the chicken breast into small pieces and fry it in vegetable oil. Pour in the juice and season with salt, pepper and curry. Cut the potatoes into cubes, add to the meat and fry for 5 minutes. Peel the mango and cut the fruit pulp from the seed into slices. Add to the pan and heat slightly.   • 1 tsp. sunflower oil
  • salt, pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Peel the new potatoes and soak in cold water for 10 minutes.
  2. Mix sour cream, flour, pressed garlic, pepper and salt.
  3. Grease a baking sheet with oil, transfer potatoes, pour sour cream sauce, sprinkle with grated cheese.
  4. Bake young potatoes with sour cream for 35 minutes at 180°C.

In a slow cooker with butter

Ingredients

  • 0.5 kg new potatoes
  • 30 g butter
  • 50 ml water
  • salt, pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Peel the new potatoes and transfer them to the multicooker bowl. Add water.
  2. Switch the multicooker to the “Steamer” mode, turn it on and wait 20 minutes. During this time, all the liquid will evaporate.
  3. Now add the butter and switch the multicooker to the “Bake” mode. When the butter has melted, close the lid.
  4. After 7 minutes, stir the bowl until the potatoes are browned.

Fried new potatoes

Ingredients

  • 8 new potatoes
  • 2 tbsp. l. sunflower oil
  • 0.5 bunch. greenery
  • salt, pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Rinse the potatoes well (you can leave the skins on). Cut it into circles or strips.
  2. After heating the oil in a frying pan, add the potatoes. Fry until golden.
  3. Season the roasted new potatoes with salt and pepper 5 minutes before they are done. Add herbs (basil, marjoram, oregano or dill) at the very end for flavor.

Baked new potatoes in the oven

Ingredients for a dish of young potatoes in the oven:

  • young potatoes – 1 kilogram;
  • butter - half a pack (125 grams);
  • garlic - five cloves;
  • sprig of rosemary;
  • greens, salt, black pepper to taste.

How to make baked new potatoes:

  1. In the same way as in the first method of preparing a potato dish, we peel the root vegetables.
  2. Before boiling new potatoes, cut them into wedges. Each root vegetable is cut into 3 parts.

  • 3 chicken thighs
  • 0.5 kg new potatoes
  • 3 teeth garlic

Preparation

  1. Rub the chicken thighs with salt, pepper and pressed garlic. Leave to marinate for an hour.
  2. Peel the new potatoes. Cut each fruit into four parts. Drizzle with oil and add salt.
  3. Pour the potatoes into the pan, place the thighs on top and cover with foil.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes at 180–200 °C. Then remove the foil and bake for another 8 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle the finished dish with chopped herbs.
