You can prepare an unusual pumpkin puree with the addition of apples. The fruits will need to be freed from seeds and peel. Then they need to be passed through a meat grinder. The resulting mass is covered with granulated sugar. For 0.5 kg of apples and 1 kg of pumpkin you need 4 large spoons of sand.

  • 300 g pumpkin;

  • 150 ml meat or vegetable broth;
  • 1 large carrot;
  • 2 small onions;
  • 4 tbsp. l. wheat flour;
  • 1 large beet;
  • ground black pepper;
  • 200 g sour cream;
  • salt.

Cooking method:

  • cut the pumpkin into small cubes;
  • cut the carrots into cubes;
  • cut the beets into strips;
  • finely chop the onion;
  • heat a frying pan with oil and fry the onion until golden brown;

Gardeners who have harvested a large pumpkin harvest can make aromatic and thick jam from its pulp for the winter. But the “secret” ingredient will give it a special benefit and piquant taste. This is a sweet dried apricot.

It should be noted right away that the cooking process does not take much time. But the preparation of the ingredients itself will be a painstaking task. However, the result is worth it. With the resulting delicacy you can drink tea, eat pancakes, and bake pies.

To make jam you need to take:

  • 3 cups sugar;
  • 4 cups prepared (chopped) pumpkin pulp;
  • 1 cup chopped dried apricots.
