But more about the varieties later, but first we take the average white polished short-grain rice, which is popular in our open spaces, and start with preparing the cereal.

Thus, we wash off the so-called glazing. After polishing, rice is treated with glucose and talc, which gives it a marketable appearance and increases shelf life.
