Classic recipe. How to quickly bake delicious cookies?

Do you want to treat your guests to something delicious, but don’t want to spend a lot of time and financial resources? Cookies are a win-win. This dessert will successfully complement cozy gatherings with family and friends.

Ingredients:

  • 750 g flour;
  • 370 g butter;
  • 200 g brown sugar;
  • 100 ml honey;
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda;
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
  • Whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Set aside. Separately, mix soft butter, brown sugar and honey. Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until smooth. The dough for honey cinnamon cookies should be dry and crumbly.

    Pour the mixture onto parchment or wax paper and knead. Divide the dough into four equal parts. Roll out one portion at a time; if desired, give the dessert a certain shape using special molds. Bake at 170 degrees for about 12 minutes.

Cooking step by step:

The honey cookie recipe includes the following ingredients: wheat flour, granulated sugar, natural honey, butter, baking powder and a pinch of salt.

In general, the dough can be prepared in two ways: by hand or using a food processor. At first I thought about making it with my hands, but in the process I changed my mind - our dough is essentially shortbread dough, and it, as you know, does not particularly like long contact with heat (in this case, with our hands). In general, sift the wheat flour, add salt, baking powder and 100 grams of sugar. Mix everything.

Now cut the cold butter into pieces and add to the dry mixture. Now quickly grind everything into crumbs with your hands.

Or we can do it even faster - in a food processor using the Metal Blade attachment.

Now add natural honey.

You should get a dough that easily comes together into a ball. If you have candied honey and the dough still doesn’t want to come together, you can add literally a couple of tablespoons of ice-cold (!) water.

Turn on the oven to warm up, and in the meantime divide the dough into 10-16 parts and roll into balls. Roll them in the remaining granulated sugar (20 grams).

Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them out from each other, as the cookies will settle and spread during the baking process.

Cook honey cookies at 180 degrees for about 10-12 minutes, but no more than 15, as the sugar will begin to caramelize and the bottom may burn.
