  • Do not peel

There is no need to remove the skin from the fruit, as it serves as a natural coating for the dessert. Without it, the fruit will lose its shape and turn into mush.

  • Use homemade apples

This is due to the fact that the peel of this type of fruit is not covered with a wax coating that is harmful to human digestion to preserve the integrity of the fruit. However, if you do not have the opportunity to prepare a dessert from natural fruits and only a store-bought product is available, do not worry. Just before baking the apples in the microwave, to remove the waxy layer, go over them thoroughly with a hard sponge or brush.

  • Choose the right microwave baking time

It is important to remember that the cooking time for dessert depends on the type of fruit. So, for example, winter, harder apples need to be baked for 5 – 7 minutes, and soft summer fruits will take up to 3 minutes to cook.

  • Pierce the peel

Place in the microwave for another 4 - 6 minutes. Look at the readiness that you need. Six minutes is enough for the pulp to have a porridge-like consistency (the way I like it).

Then we take out the dessert and pour honey on top of it.

  5. Place the apples in the microwave at maximum power. Cooking time is selected individually, depending on the type of fruit
  6. After the recommended cooking time has passed, keep the fruit in the microwave for another 1 minute to allow the fruit to cook. Next, the finished dessert can be taken out of the microwave and served.

Baked apple pieces with sugar

Also one of my favorite recipes. You can vary the amount of sugar as you wish. Or even replace it with natural sugars, such as stevia.

This cooking method involves cutting the fruit into slices or pieces.

So, choose the fruit you like. Cut off all the peel from it.

And grind the pulp itself as you like. But we try to cut out the middle with the bones. You can simply divide the apple in half, or you can cut it into cubes or slices.

We transfer the resulting pieces into a ceramic bowl, that is, an ordinary plate. Sprinkle the amount of granulated sugar you need on top.

How to make complementary foods for a baby?

The best food for a baby is mother's milk. However, when the child reaches 7 months of age, every mother faces the need to introduce complementary foods based on vegetable and fruit purees into the general diet of her child.

Many pediatricians claim that the best solution to this problem would be a dish based on baked apples. This type of complementary feeding will help to gently adapt the baby to new food, without overloading the baby’s digestive system.

To prepare baked apples in the microwave for children, we need:

  • fresh apple - 1 fruit (it is recommended to take soft and ripe fruits)
  • butter - 0.5 tsp.
  • water - 1 tbsp. l.

How to bake an apple in the microwave for a child? Everything is very simple:

This product can be used by all children, even those with high stomach acidity and one-year-olds for complementary feeding. And also for people with diabetes, nursing mothers, etc. Yes, to everyone, actually.

The shorter the time you set, the crispier the apple pulp will be. On the contrary, I like it when it is soft, like jam and can be easily taken out with a spoon.

  • low-fat cottage cheese - 150 g
  • dried fruits (raisins and dried apricots) - approximately 30 g
  • cane sugar - 1 tbsp. l.

  4. Prepare the cottage cheese. To do this, add raisins and pre-chopped dried apricots to the cheese product. Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency is obtained. Stuff the fruit with the prepared curd mass
  5. Place the stuffed fruits in a microwave-safe bowl, fill 1/3 with water and place in the microwave. Bake the fruit at maximum power

The time it takes to prepare the dessert depends on the consistency of the cottage cheese you want. If you need a very soft filling, then bake the fruit for about 10 minutes, and if you need to preserve the natural density of the apple and lightly brown the cottage cheese, up to 6 minutes.

The benefits and harms of microwave-baked apples

So we come to the question of whether it’s healthy to cook like this. Well, we can come across the opinion that the microwave is evil. But for some reason, no one shouts to us that store-bought apples are often not real - Chinese, with a lot of wax on the surface, and that they do not spoil for six months on the shelves. Perhaps if you use the microwave constantly for several hours at a time, then the harm from microwaves will appear. But bake fruit a couple of times a month. In general, let's not be fanatical. If you don’t like microwaves, then bake in the oven or in a slow cooker. Save time, then respect the microwave oven.

During the analysis process, I realized that baked apples are good for everyone. If their consumption in fresh form is limited, then in cooked form there is no limit.
