The taste of the pulp of the stem fruit is reminiscent of white cabbage, or rather the taste of the stalk. But kohlrabi has a softer and more pleasant taste.

To prepare salads, you must use fresh young fruits with a diameter of 7-8 cm (no more). They are the softest and juiciest and do not have the sharp cabbage smell that is inherent in overripe vegetables.

If the apple is a summer variety with thin and delicate skin, then there is no need to peel the fruit.

Grate carrots, kohlrabi and apple. Mix. Add a little salt. Season the salad with sour cream or mayonnaise.

  • 250 gr. kohlrabi;
  • 250 gr. crab sticks;
  • 250 gr. canned corn;
  • 3 pods of bell pepper;
  • 2 tomatoes;

Boil the chicken eggs hard in advance. After 10 minutes of boiling, remove the eggs from the boiling water and place them in a bowl of ice water. Thanks to this, the eggs will cool faster and will be easier to peel.

When the eggs have cooled completely, peel them and chop them into small cubes with a knife. We wash the fresh cucumbers, make sure they are not bitter and cut them into small cubes. Peel the kohlrabi and grate it on a coarse grater, mix all three prepared ingredients. Add chopped greens. Season the salad with sour cream, salt and pepper. Instead of sour cream, you can use mayonnaise.

Peel the kohlrabi and grate it on a coarse grater. Mix cabbage with prepared chicken meat. Thinly slice the onion. It is best to use salad red onions, they are juicier and do not have a strong taste. If you use regular onions, then after cutting it is recommended to scald them with boiling water.
