Homemade strawberry and mint ice cream

Ingredients:

cream 33%;

powdered sugar - 3 tbsp. spoons;

strawberries - 400 g

3 sprigs of mint.

Cooking method:

Pour cream into a deep container and add mint sprigs. As soon as the mixture begins to boil, remove from heat and cover with a lid so that the aroma of the cream acquires a minty hue.

Beat the chilled cream first at first speed, then at second and finally at third. The cream must be brought to a thickened mass.

Sprinkle strawberries with powdered sugar and mix in a blender. To avoid feeling the seeds, the puree can be strained through a sieve. Add the resulting strawberry puree to the cream and mix until light pink.

Pour the mixture into plastic cups or any other molds, stick wooden Chinese chopsticks into the center of the dessert and place in the freezer overnight.

Milk and strawberry ice cream

  • First, grind with a spoon or beat in a blender 200 g of strawberries with 2-3 tbsp. Sahara. As soon as the mass becomes homogeneous, put it in the refrigerator to cool.
  • Meanwhile, combine 400 ml of milk and 3 chicken yolks with the same amount of sugar (2-3 tbsp) and vanilla on the tip of a knife, whisk and place in a saucepan over low heat.

  • Cool the mixture to room temperature and then put it in the freezer.
  • As soon as the mass thickens, take it out and pour in the strawberry syrup. Mix with a blender or beat vigorously with a fork. You want the ice cream to become homogeneous, but it’s okay if there are berry inclusions left, it will become even tastier.

Place in the freezer and then whisk every half hour until the texture of the treat becomes completely fluffier. Be sure to let it melt a little before serving, spread it in portions and garnish with fresh strawberries.
