Jellied curd pie with kefir
One of the simplest recipes for cottage cheese baking is considered to be a recipe for jellied kefir pie with cottage cheese. The preparation of the treat is quick and easy, and the result is simply amazing. Soft dough that melts in your mouth goes well with delicate curd cream. Ideal for breakfast or afternoon snack.
Base ingredients:
- Eggs – 2 pcs;
- Flour – 12 tbsp;
- Powdered sugar – 9 tbsp;
- Vegetable oil – 5 tbsp;
- Kefir – ¾ tbsp;
- Baking powder - 1 sachet;
- Vanilla sugar – 5 g.
- Salt – 2 g.
- Cottage cheese – 500–600 g;
- Eggs – 2 pcs;
- Sugar – 3 tbsp;
- Candied fruits - optional.
What should you pay attention to when choosing cottage cheese for filling a jellied pie? First of all, on the composition of the product. Natural cottage cheese is made from fresh milk, starter culture, rennet enzymes and calcium chloride. There should be no vegetable fats, preservatives, stabilizers or flavorings in the cottage cheese.
How to cook:
1. Mix kefir and baking soda in a bowl. Leave for a few minutes until the soda dissolves in the kefir.
2. While the slaking process is underway, you need to beat the eggs with sugar (in a large bowl). Then pour kefir into the beaten eggs and mix.
3. Next add the plant. oil and preferably odorless. And sift the flour mixed with baking powder onto this mass. Add flour gradually, constantly stirring the dough.
4. For the curd filling, combine all the necessary ingredients in a bowl and mix. The filling should be thick, but not runny. But this is not the only filling for the pie. We have more apples.
We cook the apples at the very end, because after peeling they quickly turn black. Unfortunately, there are no photos of apples, because I hoped to make this pie quickly without a photo shoot. But it turned out so delicious that I simply couldn’t help but share the recipe.
Cut the peeled apples as desired. Now, grease the mold with drain. oil and place half of the prepared pie dough into it. Then a layer of apples and the remaining dough. Visually divide the curd filling into 8 parts and distribute it (with a spoon) on the surface in “nests”. Place the baking sheet with the dough into a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes.
Tip: the cake bakes faster in a baking sheet than in a pan with high sides. And also comes out taller. The readiness of the pie, as always, is determined by a dry match. the finished pie with apples and cottage cheese slightly, remove from the pan and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut the pie into portions and you can drink tea!
Cottage cheese baking will find a lover in absolutely any kitchen. And not in vain, because it has a delicate and mild taste. Our recipe will differ from others in one small feature - the pie will be cooked in a slow cooker. Thanks to the multicooker, it will bake evenly and well, which is not always possible to achieve in the oven. And from this it follows that the cake will become more fluffy and airy. Many people are skeptical about cooking in a slow cooker, but there is no reason to worry. It is almost impossible to skip cooking and overcook food in it, and the pie will undoubtedly turn out golden. Another feature is kefir. The dough is prepared with kefir, again for greater tenderness and airiness. So, today we are making a kefir pie with cottage cheese.
You can reasonably say that each of you has a granny who already knows perfectly well how to bake pies without your multicookers. There is still an answer to this: the main surprise and secret of the recipe is apples. Pie with apples will turn out much more interesting and sweeter. Many people obviously don’t like cottage cheese baked goods because of a certain dryness, but with the help of these fruits we can only talk about extraordinary juiciness and sweetness. Overall, this dessert is definitely worth your attention and exploration. So let's find out what we need to prepare it.
