So, we are preparing pork steak in sweet and sour sauce for the New Year 2020. This is an unusual juicy and soft pork steak, its unusualness is that you must first marinate the meat in plum glaze for some time.

To prepare you will need:

  • pork tenderloin – 1 kg. ;
  • salt, ground black pepper - to taste;
  • Provençal herbs – ½ teaspoon;
  • red plums (plum syrup) - 3 tablespoons;
  • French mustard - 1 tablespoon;
  • olive oil – 1 tablespoon.

How to cook pork steak in a frying pan so that it is juicy and tender:

We cut the meat across the grain into steaks (2.5 – 3 cm thick). In a bowl, mix mustard, plum syrup or grated pulp of large red plums, salt, ground pepper and olive oil. Cover the bowl with film and leave the steaks to marinate for 2 - 3 hours in a cool place.

Then bake the steaks in a frying pan, fry for 3 - 5 minutes on each side. Place the steaks on a baking sheet, pour over the remaining marinade and bake in the oven until fully cooked.

  • Pork (fillet) 500 g;
  • garlic 2 cloves;
  • fresh rosemary 2 sprigs;
  • vegetable oil 4 tbsp. l.;
  • ground paprika 1 tsp;
  • anchovy fillet 2 pcs.;
  • onion 1 pc.;
  • sweet red pepper 1 pc.;
  • canned tomatoes 300 g;
  • ground black pepper;
  • juice from 1/2 lemon;
  • fresh parsley 3 sprigs.

Preparation:

1. Cut the pork into strips. Peel the garlic and finely chop it. Chop rosemary leaves.

2. Put garlic and rosemary in 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil, add paprika and mix. Marinate the pork in this mixture for at least 45 minutes.

3. Finely chop the anchovy fillet. Peel and cut the onion. Peel the sweet pepper from seeds and cut into strips. Remove the skins from the canned tomatoes and chop them coarsely.

4. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the pork. Add anchovies, sweet peppers, onions and tomatoes to the meat. Stir and fry for three minutes over high heat.

5. Reduce the heat, cover the pan and simmer the pork and vegetables for about twenty minutes.

  • black olives - 7-8 pcs.;
  • olive oil – 6 tbsp. l.;
  • fresh basil - a few sprigs;
  • salt.

Preparation:

  • Remove the stems from the peppers, cut them in half and remove the seeds.
