We recently decided to have an Italian-style party. We invited guests and started preparing all sorts of goodies. Some recipes have already been published on the site, and it is quite possible that you have already seen them, and maybe even cooked according to them, this and. Now it was the turn to talk about pizzas, and there were three different types. Let's start with the shrimp pizza.
The most difficult thing in preparing such a pizza is peeling the shrimp :-) You can, of course, use already peeled ones, but by spending 30 minutes removing the shells, you can save a lot on the cost of the shrimp.
It's the same story with pizza dough. You can buy a special pizza base or use puff pastry. But, to be honest, homemade dough is much tastier than store-bought dough. The labor required for mixing it is minimal and takes only 5-7 minutes. The dough should be placed in a warm place where there are no drafts. The ideal temperature for this is 28-30 degrees. In the meantime, while you are defrosting and cleaning the shrimp, it will already be suitable and you can proceed directly to the cooking process. The dough proposed in our recipe turns out to be very tender and soft. It is easy to form a pizza base from it; you don’t even need to use a rolling pin for this, the main thing is to grease your hands with olive oil so that the dough does not stick.
You will be able to see the recipes for the remaining two pizzas very soon on our website, but for now you can read the process of preparing shrimp pizza.
Ingredients:
- Flour - 175 grams;
- Water - 125 ml;
- Dry yeast - 1 teaspoon;
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon (for dough);
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon for the dough, plus for greasing the pizza;
- Tomato pulp - 3 tablespoons;
- Shrimp - 300 grams;
- Mozzarella for pizza - 50 - 70 grams;
- Salt to taste.
How to make shrimp pizza:
Step 1
Dissolve the yeast in warm water.
Step 2
Pizza dough. Sift the flour into a deep bowl, add salt and mix. Then add water with yeast and olive oil. Knead the soft dough, cover it and leave it in a warm place to rise. The dough should double in volume.
Step 3
While the dough is rising, defrost the shrimp and remove the shells.
Step 4
When the dough has risen, we begin to make the pizza base. To do this, grease your hands with olive oil and stretch the dough; you can help roll out the dough with a rolling pin.
Step 5
Lightly grease the pizza base with olive oil so that the dough does not become saturated with tomatoes and become loose. Then cover the base with tomato pulp. Arrange the shrimp evenly and add salt to taste.
Step 6
Grate the mozzarella on a coarse grater and sprinkle on the pizza.

Hearing the word “pizza”, we immediately remember sunny Italy, fiery Italians, who, according to everyone, are the inventors of this culinary masterpiece.

We took the dough piece out of the refrigerator; smeared with ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise; cut and placed on top everything that was at hand (vegetables, sausage, meat, mushrooms); sprinkled with cheese and into the oven.
But today we’re not going to talk about such a quick dish. The theme will be truly royal - pizza with shrimp and everything connected with it (how to cook, what to put in the filling, what kind of dough to use, whether to serve sauce for such a pizza and much more).
Pizza dough
Wherever pizza is prepared (in a home kitchen or in a pizzeria), whatever it is with (sausage or seafood), the most important thing in it is the base - good quality dough. Let's start with him.
Ingredients:
- white wheat flour – 250-260 g,
- instant yeast – 5 g,
- sugar – 2 teaspoons,
- fine salt “Extra” – 1/3 teaspoon,
- drinking water – 160-180 ml,
- olive oil – 2-3 tablespoons.
Preparation:
1. Take a deep container and sift flour into it, add yeast, sugar, and salt to the flour. Using a fork, mix everything thoroughly to ensure that all ingredients are mixed evenly.
2. Heat the water until slightly warm. Pour olive oil into it, stir.
3. Slowly and carefully pour water into the flour, knead until the dough stops sticking to your hands; If necessary, add a little sifted flour.
4. Roll the resulting dough into a ball, place it in a dry, clean bowl and cover the top with a linen cloth. Leave the dishes in a warm place for 40-45 minutes.
5. The result should be a soft, elastic dough that stretches very well. When it rises, knead it a little and roll it into a flat cake at least 5 mm thick.
Do not use a rolling pin in this case, but stretch the dough with your fingers - grease the shape in which you plan to bake the pizza with oil and stretch the dough onto it. Be sure to fold the edges to form some kind of sides.
To prevent the dough from rising in one place like a dome during baking, prick it in several places with a fork. In total, it took about one hour to prepare the dough. Then it was time to turn on your wild imagination and lay out the filling.

Step-by-step instructions for preparing Pizza with salmon, shrimp and cheese
Step 1
Turn on the oven at 40 degrees. Pour 100 g into a deep bowl. warm water, add a pinch of sugar, yeast, 3 tsp. flour. Mix well, cover with a towel and leave for 12 minutes.

Dissolves salt in the remaining water.

Sift the flour into a separate bowl. In the center of the flour we make a small depression and add a solution with yeast and salt from it, mix, add 1 tbsp. l. vegetable small.

Roll the dough into a ball, place it in a bowl, cover with a damp towel, and place in a preheated oven for 45 minutes.

While the dough is resting, make the sauce. Heat vegetable oil in a small saucepan. Finely chop the garlic and place in vegetable oil for 2 minutes. Add tomatoes in their own juice, 1 tbsp. l. tomato paste, one pinch each - salt, sugar, basil, oregano. Stir the sauce and bring it to a boil. Using an immersion blender, smooth the sauce and cook, stirring, for 10 minutes. The sauce is ready.
Step 6
Let's prepare the filling. Boil the fish for 10 minutes in salted water, remove bones and chop finely. Cut the onion into thin rings. Thaw the shrimp. Grate or cut the cheese.
Step 7
The dough has increased 3 times. Pour a couple of drops of vegetable oil onto your hands. Remove the dough from the bowl, knead it a little, and roll into a ball. Pour a LOT of flour onto the table (5-6 tbsp.) While rolling out the dough, don’t be shy with flour, there should be a lot of it! Place the dough on a mound with flour, sprinkle flour on top of the dough.
Step 8
The next step is rolling out the dough. NO ROLLING ROLLING ROLL, WE STRETCH THE DOUGH WITH YOUR HANDS! We begin to stretch the dough from the center, stepping back 2-3 cm from the edge for the sides. We don’t touch the dough around the edges, we don’t knead it so that the sides turn out fluffy and beautiful.
Step 9
While stretching the dough, sprinkle with flour, turn the dough over and stretch with your hands. When the circle of dough stretches to 18-20 cm, quickly place the dough on the palm of your hand and transfer it into your hands, very carefully so as not to tear it (You can do without acrobatic tricks, then just stretch it with your hands) Remove (shake off) excess flour. Take a baking sheet, no parchment, no oil, no silicone mat! Turn our baking sheet upside down and lay out the dough. We form an even circle, press only in the center, do not touch the sides, do not wrinkle!
Step 10
Lubricate the base with the prepared sauce, leaving 1 cm from the edge.

We spread the filling - onions, fish, shrimp, cheese.
Step 12
Turn on the oven at 250 degrees. While the oven is heating up, our pizza preparation will rest a little. Bake the pizza for 10 minutes at the maximum power of your oven (250 degrees).
Pizza with shrimp a la “Italian Flag”
Since the concepts of pizza and Italy are almost inseparable, then according to this recipe, prepare pizza with shrimp in the colors of the Italian flag - white, red and green. It will look bright and beautiful when served.
Ingredients:
- medium-sized shrimp – 15-20 pieces,
- arugula and basil greens - to your taste,
- Parmesan cheese – 50-60 g,
- Mozzarella cheese – 200-220 g,
- green olives (pitted) – 8-10 pieces,
- olive oil – 2-3 tablespoons,
- garlic cloves – 2-3 pieces,
- salt, oregano seasoning (dry) - to your taste.
Preparation:
1. Place the dough on the form, prick it with a fork, now just cover it with a linen cloth and let it stand for 15 minutes. Let it rise a little more and become lush.
2. According to this recipe, we will grease the dough not with tomato sauce, but, so to speak, with a budget version of Pesto sauce. To prepare it, grate a piece of Parmesan cheese and place it in a blender. Add 1-2 garlic cloves, a little salt, and a few washed and lightly chopped basil sprigs there.
So that the sauce does not turn out too thick and is then conveniently applied to the dough, pour in 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Mix everything in a blender until it becomes a viscous, bright green mixture. Generously brush the dough with the resulting aromatic mixture.
3. Scald the tomato with boiling water and carefully remove the peel. Cut the tomato pulp into medium cubes and place them on the dough.
4. Now dust the entire surface of the pizza with dry oregano seasoning, based on your spice preferences.
5. Cut the olives into quarters and also place them throughout the pizza.
6. Cut the Mozzarella cheese balls into two (or four) parts, distribute them between the tomato cubes and olives.
7. Boil water in a kettle and pour it over the shrimp. If you had them frozen, wait until they thaw. Drain the water, peel the shrimp from the shell, tail and neck. Arrange them nicely on the pizza between slices of Mozzarella cheese. If you use too large shrimp, you can cut them into two halves.
8. Spray the pizza with olive oil (use a special kitchen spray bottle for vegetable oils for this purpose). Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and place the pizza in it for 20 minutes to bake.
9. You can periodically monitor the pizza by carefully lifting the edge of the dough. I don't want the shrimp pizza to burn.
10. Garnish the finished shrimp pizza with fresh arugula and basil leaves.
11. Serve the pizza by cutting it into 6-8 pieces using a special roller knife. It is served hot, it is not advisable to reheat it in the microwave.

- Break the egg and mix everything. Add flour in small portions and knead the dough. Cover it with a towel and leave for an hour and a half. When it rises, knead it again.
- Peel the squid and shrimp, throw into boiling water, cook for 3 minutes. Cut the squid into narrow strips. Cut the olives crosswise into slices. Peel and chop the pepper.
- Melt butter, mix with sour cream. Add garlic passed through a press.
- Grease a baking sheet with margarine. Roll out the dough and spread on a baking sheet. The layer must be of uniform thickness. Thickly coat it with sour cream and garlic sauce. Place the filling on top.
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

- white wheat flour – 4 heaped tablespoons,
- mayonnaise – 2 tablespoons,
- salt - a pinch.
Filling ingredients:
- tomato paste – 1 tablespoon tablespoon,
- shrimp – 100-150 g,
- fresh champignon mushrooms – 100-150 g,
- onion – 1 piece,
- vegetable oil (for frying and greasing the bowl) - 2 tablespoons,
- hard cheese – 100 g,
