  • Baked bananas: how to bake fruits in the oven?

Ingredients

  • bananas – 2 pcs.
  • chocolate 70% cocoa – 100 g
  • coconut flakes – 1 tbsp. (you can also use ready-made colored sprinkles)
  • sesame – 1 tbsp.
  • nuts (walnuts, peanuts) – 1 tbsp.

Makes about 20 pieces.

Preparation

If you'll be using seeds or nuts to top your candy, start by preparing them.

Fry the sesame seeds in a dry frying pan until they acquire a creamy, pleasant hue. It is important not to overexpose it in the pan, so as not to start to taste bitter. Let cool.

Coconut shavings are already ready for use, but you can deal with nuts in two ways: grind them into nut crumbs, or, if you have walnuts in the form of halves, you can use them whole, simply placing the butterfly half on top of the candy.

Now you can start preparing the chocolate glaze. Break the chocolate and place it in a small bowl, but always with high sides (you can take a regular large glass - it will be convenient to envelop bananas in a chocolate layer).

Place the plate with the chocolate scrap in a larger bowl with water at the bottom. We put this bowl on the stove and heat the water until it boils, and the chocolate will begin to melt from the heat of the plate heated in boiling water. There is no need to bring the chocolate itself to a boil, you just need to melt it.

We advise you to bring the water to a boil, turn off the burner, but do not remove the plate with chocolate from the boiling water throughout the entire procedure of chocolate “wrapping” the bananas. This way, the chocolate will not cool down and it will be convenient for you to work with it.

Now you can start eating bananas. You need to be somewhat selective when choosing them, since they are too soft and especially overripe for this recipe. You need to choose bananas in the store that have elastic, sweet and ripe flesh.

We cut the banana into equal discs, thickness - 1-1.5 cm. To dip banana slices into chocolate, you can use toothpicks or a fork. We stick a toothpick into the circle and dip it into warm chocolate.

If you suddenly don’t have any toothpicks, put a banana slice on a fork, dip it in chocolate, lift it and shake it slightly over a plate of melted chocolate - the excess chocolate mass will flow into the slots of the fork.

We place the banana pucks on a flat surface, for example, a regular baking sheet or a large cutting board covered with cooking parchment is suitable for these purposes. The main thing is that the dimensions of this surface allow it to fit on the shelf of your refrigerator.

Immediately sprinkle the glaze with prepared tasty toppings - sesame, coconut and nuts.

When everything is ready, put it in the refrigerator. For such small banana candies, 15 minutes will be enough for the shell to cool and harden.

Mmm... tender banana pulp in chocolate glaze... An amazingly tasty combination!

Chocolate covered bananas on a stick in the oven

When dried, the banana pulp loses moisture and shrinks, so cut it into slices, holding the knife at an angle. The slices will be oblong and larger in size.

You will need:

  • grated cinnamon - to taste;
  • 20 g sweet powder;
  • chocolate – 1 bar each of white and black;
  • 3 selected bananas.

Step-by-step instruction:

  1. After peeling, dissolve the fruit into plates up to 5 mm thick. Cover the wire rack with parchment in one layer and pierce it thickly with a needle. Thread pieces of pulp onto wooden skewers soaked in boiling water and place the pieces on parchment.
  2. When heated to 70 degrees, dry the bananas for up to two hours. Open the oven door slightly and secure it. After half the time has passed, remove the skewers and sprinkle the banana slices with a mixture of cinnamon and sweet powder.
  3. Let the baked bananas cool, and chop the chocolate and melt it in different dishes. Holding the dessert by the stick over a bowl of melted mixture, pour thin streams of chocolate over it. Apply the dark color mixture from top to bottom, turning the skewer, white chocolate - in the opposite direction.

By deftly handling the melted chocolate, turn the dessert into a zebra by pouring alternate drizzles over the banana mugs from different bowls.

Chocolate banana popsicle

This dessert can be consumed unfrozen, but if you let the glazed bananas sit in the freezer, then every piece of this wonderful sweetness will simply melt in your mouth.

To make it easier to dip bananas in chocolate, pieces of the fruit are strung on wooden ice cream sticks. Because of their resemblance to popsicles, this dish got its original name.

Cut 2-3 bananas into 2 parts; if the bananas are very long, you can divide them into three pieces. Melt a chocolate bar (100 grams) in a water bath or in the microwave, preferably in a flat plate to make it easier to dip the bananas.

Advice!

While the chocolate is melting, you can prepare the topping for the “popsicle” - it can be chopped nuts, coconut flakes, sesame seeds, poppy seeds - whatever you like. If the banana is not sprinkled, it will lose its beautiful appearance while it hardens.

When the chocolate has melted, place each piece of banana on a wooden stick and dip it into the chocolate mixture. Then dip the glazed banana in the sprinkles and place on parchment paper. Place the finished pieces in the freezer for 1.5-2 hours, until completely frozen, and you can serve the dish.

Cooking the dish step by step with photos:

  1. Peel the bananas, then cut each of them into three parts.
  2. We string each piece of banana onto a wooden stick or skewer, then put the bananas in the freezer for 1 hour.
  3. Meanwhile, peel the nuts and finely chop them.
  4. Break the chocolate bar into several pieces and place it in an iron bowl or saucepan.
  5. Place a saucepan or bowl in a water bath, pour milk into it and melt the chocolate until liquid.
  6. Take bananas out of the freezer and dip them in melted chocolate. Immediately after this, sprinkle the bananas with crushed nuts. The chocolate will harden in just one or two minutes, after which you can put the banana on the plate.
  7. We do the same procedure with the remaining bananas, after which we put them in the freezer for a couple of minutes until completely frozen.
  8. We take the finished bananas out of the freezer and immediately serve the dessert to the table.

Bon appetit!

Anyone can make chocolate covered bananas. The whole process is quite simple and straightforward, and the presence of step-by-step photographs of each cooking point already simplifies it. If you have children in your family, be sure to involve them in the cooking process, as both you and they will enjoy it. Finally, I want to give a few tips so that your chocolate-covered bananas turn out delicious the first time:

  • For cooking, it is best to use classic yellow bananas rather than green ones;
  • You can experiment a little and dip bananas in different chocolate each time: milk, white and black;
  • For dusting, you can use any chopped nuts: almonds, hazelnuts, peanuts, etc. If you are tired of the option with nuts, then replace them with coconut flakes;
  • Bananas can be served as soon as the chocolate has hardened; it is not necessary to wait the five minutes indicated in the recipe.

Frozen chocolate covered bananas

A tasty and healthy treat for a children's party. You can eat it simply chilled or wait until it is completely frozen - in the form of ice cream.

Ingredients

Bananas - 3 pcs. (large size)

Dark chocolate – 100 g

Butter - 30 g

Confectionery topping – 10 g

Coconut flakes - 10 g

Step-by-step recipe with photos

Frozen chocolate covered bananas are a very tasty, bright and healthy dessert. These bananas are perfect for a children's party, although I think adults will also like this dessert. To decorate bananas in chocolate, in addition to confectionery sprinkles and shavings, you can additionally take chopped nuts, ground biscuit crumbs or ground waffles; in general, anything you find in your bins will do.

If desired, you can serve these chocolate-covered bananas simply chilled, but if you wait until they are completely frozen, then you will get very tasty ice cream!

Let's prepare all the necessary ingredients.

So, peel the bananas and cut them into 2 parts. If you suddenly can’t find larger bananas, then take small ones and use them whole. Also, large bananas can be cut not into two parts, but into pucks; in this form, chocolate-covered bananas will be very convenient to eat even for very little sweet tooths.

We take long skewers for kebabs and cut them into two parts with scissors. Place the sliced bananas on skewers. By the way, if you have the opportunity to buy special wooden popsicle sticks, then be sure to buy them, since bananas sit much more comfortably on such wide sticks, but in the absence of them, ordinary wooden skewers will do.

Place the resulting banana “popsicles” on a freezing tray and place them in the freezer for about 5 minutes. We need them to cool slightly on top. There is no need to completely freeze them at this stage.

While the bananas are cooling, prepare the glaze. Break chocolate (I used 56% black, but you can use a mixture of dark and milk or just milk, depending on the sweetness of bananas and your taste) into small pieces and combine with butter.

Melt the chocolate in a steam bath or in the microwave until it becomes smooth. Whatever method you choose (bathhouse or microwave), the main thing is to never overheat the chocolate, otherwise it will curdle and turn into a lumpy mass. Therefore, stir the chocolate as often as possible and check its consistency.

Pour the resulting glaze into a tall narrow glass (for me it’s a glass for making yogurt). If there is no suitable container, then we simply skip this step.

Now we take out the cooled bananas and quickly dip them into the glaze one by one (do not keep the bananas in the glaze for a long time, since then the layer of chocolate will be very thick).

If you haven’t found a suitable glass for the glaze, then simply apply the chocolate with a spoon or brush, or completely roll the bananas in melted chocolate.

Next, take the bananas out of the glaze and quickly (on cold bananas the chocolate sets quickly) sprinkle them with all kinds of sprinkles, or you can just roll them in them. In general, here you can safely use your imagination and decorate bananas the way you want.

We put the bananas back on the tray and put them in the freezer so that the chocolate is completely set and the bananas themselves are frozen.

That's all! Our frozen chocolate covered bananas are ready.

Bon appetit!

They are very easy to make, convenient to eat and it is impossible not to enjoy such a successful combination. This dessert is fun to make with children - a sea of new impressions and tastes are guaranteed!

Ingredients:

  • 5 medium bananas;
  • 2 bars of dark chocolate without filling or additives;
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of cream;
  • decor or powder to taste.

To work with the fruit conveniently, you need to place it on a stick. The most convenient option is a wooden ice cream stick, but it can be replaced with any other skewer.

The following toppings are used to decorate and add a piquant taste:

  1. crushed nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, peanuts);
  2. sunflower seeds or sesame seeds, you can use crushed kozinaki;
  3. coconut flakes;
  4. puffed rice balls;
  5. colored confectionery powder;
  6. small decor for cakes;
  7. crushed waffles or shortbread.

By adding one or more types of sprinkles, you can significantly change the taste of the finished dessert. So feel free to experiment and get new successful combinations.

On a note! Another interesting experience would be replacing dark chocolate with white. Try both options and see how the taste changes.

For white chocolate, it is better to use slightly unripe bananas so that the dessert is not too sweet. If you're serving chocolate-covered bananas at a children's party, you can experiment with food coloring by adding it to the white frosting. Bright and sweet banana-chocolate sticks will undoubtedly please little fidgets.

When the image of ideal bananas is collected, and along with it the necessary ingredients, you can start cooking. Before you start creating the delicacy, bananas are peeled, cut in half, placed on a stick and placed in the freezer for half an hour. This will allow the skewer to stick well and make the liquid chocolate harden faster and more evenly.

When the bananas' time in the refrigerator comes to an end, we begin mixing the chocolate glaze:

  • finely chop or chop the chocolate to ensure even melting;
  • prepare a water bath and melt the chocolate until a homogeneous mass is formed;
  • to make it easier to apply to the banana, pour room temperature cream into the melted chocolate and mix thoroughly (at this stage you can add food coloring to the white chocolate);
  • remove from heat and let stand while the powder is prepared, but no longer than 5 minutes.

The chocolate is ready to be applied, take the bananas out of the freezer and you are ready to start.

The process itself is extremely simple:

  1. take the banana by the stick and dip it in chocolate, pouring over the exposed parts from a spoon;
  2. let it harden for half a minute and make a second layer;
  3. sprinkle the dessert with sprinkles;
  4. Place it vertically so as not to smear the glaze and wait for it to harden.

On a note! In order for the delicacy to be securely attached to the stick, the banana needs to be completely dipped in the glaze, covering the stem a little. To do this, you can pour the glaze into a glass to quickly coat the banana with chocolate.

The finished dessert is placed in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours, after which it is ready to eat.

This is such a simple dessert that the whole family can make. Children will love the process of applying chocolate and sprinkles. Delicious!

Bake in the microwave

No time, but really want some mind-blowing dessert? Chocolate covered bananas with marshmallows are simply irresistibly delicious and only take 5 minutes to prepare.

For one serving you will need:

  • 1 large banana;
  • 25 g milk or dark chocolate without additives;
  • 50 g white marshmallows or marshmallows.

Let's start cooking:

  1. wash the banana thoroughly;
  2. Without removing it from the peel, make a deep cut 2/3 of the way through;
  3. grate the chocolate and put it in a banana;
  4. Place diced marshmallows or small marshmallows on top;
  5. Place in the microwave for 3 minutes at medium power.

Dessert is ready! You need to eat it with a teaspoon straight from the peel.

Bake in the oven

If you have a little more time, you can create a chocolate banana dessert in foil. It can easily be used for charcoal grilling, like baked potatoes.

Ingredients:

  • 4 bananas;
  • bar of dark or milk chocolate;
  • 40 g nuts (walnuts or hazelnuts);
  • foil.

Cooking begins by preheating the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Further:

  1. Wash the banana thoroughly, cut it crosswise into 2/3 of the length, going well, but without damaging the peel on the other side;
  2. break the chocolate into small pieces and insert into the cut;
  3. pour nuts into the remaining space;
  4. wrap the workpiece tightly in foil and place it on a baking sheet;
  5. set to bake for 15 minutes.

On a note! Baking bananas over coals is a delicate matter. You should not put dessert on too hot coals - it is best to place them immediately after finishing roasting the main dish. To ensure even baking, the bananas will need to be buried a little, for about 20-30 minutes.

The finished dessert has a wonderful smell and a soft, creamy consistency. It is best to eat it straight from the peel using a spoon.

Fry in a frying pan

Fried bananas with chocolate sauce can often be seen among desserts in cafes and restaurants. They go especially well with vanilla ice cream or soft curd mass.

In order to create these chocolate covered bananas, we will need the following ingredients:

  • 4 medium bananas;
  • half a lemon;
  • 200 g dark or milk chocolate without additives;
  • 4 tbsp. spoons of butter;
  • vanillin, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg;
  • 1 tbsp. spoon of wheat flour.

On a note! Bananas for dessert are chosen to be greenish and unripe. This is done so that the dessert is not cloyingly sweet. But for absolute sweet tooths, it is better to take ripe bananas, but elastic, without softening or darkening areas.

Let's start cooking:

  1. Bananas are peeled and the ends are trimmed to 1 cm.
  2. The fruit is cut into 4 parts - one cut along, one across, exactly in the middle.
  3. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon and roll the banana slices in it.
    On a note! This item does not in any way affect the taste of the finished dessert, so it can be omitted. Spraying with lemon is done to prevent browning during frying.
  4. Mix flour and spices in small quantities.
  5. Dip bananas in this mixture.
  6. Melt the butter in a frying pan and add the breaded bananas.
  7. Fry the pieces on each side for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Grate the chocolate onto a fine grater and sprinkle over the hot bananas. The chocolate will melt, forming a crispy crust.

The finished dessert is placed on a plate and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Making a delicate dessert

This banana chocolate treat is perfect for entertaining. To serve, you will need bowls or ice cream makers.

Compound:

  • 600 g banana pulp;
  • 1 liter of low-fat cream or milk;
  • 500 g powdered sugar;
  • 6 chicken eggs;
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of cocoa;
  • 50 g dark chocolate without additives.

Basically, we will make homemade ice cream, soft and very tasty.

Preparation:

  1. Cream or milk is heated over low heat.
  2. Powdered sugar is added to them and the heat is increased.
  3. The mixture is brought to a boil with constant stirring and immediately after the first bubbles it is turned off.
  4. The eggs are beaten until a thick foam forms and poured into the milk mixture.
  5. Cocoa is added there and everything is put back on the fire and brought to a boil.
  6. The mass is removed from the heat and cools to room temperature.
  7. The bananas are mashed and beaten with a mixer for 4-5 minutes.
  8. The finished puree is thoroughly mixed with the cooled milk mass and whipped with a mixer.
  9. The finished mixture is placed in the freezer for 6-8 hours until completely frozen.

Using a special spoon, balls are scooped out of frozen ice cream and placed in bowls. For this dessert, it is preferable to use finely grated chocolate, but if desired, you can melt it and pour over the dessert.

On a note! You can freeze the delicacy by first pouring it into bowls. In this case, you can use whipped cream and grated chocolate for decoration.

Each of these recipes can be changed and modernized at your own discretion, creating more and more new treats for yourself and your loved ones.

How to cook fried bananas in chocolate: recipes with photos

Fried bananas covered in chocolate

Ingredients:

  • 4 bananas;
  • 1 lemon;
  • 200 grams of dark or milk chocolate without additives;
  • Also, to prepare fried bananas with chocolate according to this recipe, you will need some breadcrumbs or regular wheat flour (will be used for breading);
  • a little vanillin and cardamom (add spices as desired);
  • 4 tbsp. spoons of butter (for frying);
  • powdered sugar for additional decoration of the finished dish.

Preparation:

Stage No. 1. When purchasing the main fruit used to make this dessert, preference should be given to slightly unripe bananas. Even if they have a slightly greenish tint, this will only benefit the taste. This is due to the fact that ripe bananas are quite sweet and you can end up with an overly sugary dessert. However, for lovers of sweets it will be just right.

Stage No. 2. The selected fruits are peeled; be sure to cut off the black ends. Cut the fruits lengthwise into two halves and place on a separate plate. Wash the lemon and cut it into two parts, squeeze the juice out of one (needed for frying). The other half of the yellow citrus is not needed to prepare this dish.

Stage No. 3. Pour breadcrumbs (wheat flour) into a dry deep plate and add some sweet spices (vanillin and cardamom). You can choose other spices; ground cinnamon and nutmeg are perfect. Mix everything well with each other.

Stage No. 4. You can fry prepared fruits in a frying pan or in a saucepan. In the selected container, you must first melt the butter (you can replace it with margarine, suitable for frying). It is important! Before adding bananas to the frying pan, sprinkle them with lemon juice. This trick will allow the housewife to prevent the capricious banana pulp from darkening during the frying process. So, roll bananas in lemon juice in prepared breading and place in a frying pan. Each piece should be in contact with the surface. Fry the fruits on both sides for two to three minutes. The finished fruit should have a beautiful golden brown crust.

Stage No. 5. There are two ways to prepare chocolate. The first is the simplest - you need to grate it on a fine grater and sprinkle the bananas just removed from the pan with this crumb. The chocolate will melt a little and the fruit will have a sweet, appetizing crust.

Baked banana with chocolate: recipe with photos

Although a fresh banana goes well with chocolate, if it is heat-treated, it will acquire a unique, magical taste. Peel the banana and cut lengthwise without cutting all the way through.

Carefully, using the handle of a small spoon or a thin knife, make a very small indentation inside the banana and place the dark chocolate slices there. Wrap the banana in foil and bake in a preheated oven for about 10 minutes.

The melted chocolate will flow out of the banana a little, but most of it will still remain inside. This dessert must be eaten while it is hot, otherwise the chocolate will harden and the original taste will be lost.

Banana can also be baked on biscuits or any dry cookies. But this time, the banana will be baked separately from the chocolate. Place a slice of banana on the cookie and bake in the oven for 7-8 minutes.

Then take out and quickly place chocolate slices on each cookie. It is better that the chocolate is at room temperature and not from the refrigerator, otherwise it may not melt completely.

These chocolate-covered bananas, prepared according to our recipes with photos, will appeal to both adults and children!

Bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for 10-15 minutes. During this time, the chocolate will melt and the banana inside will become soft.

Then unwrap the foil and bake for another 2-3 minutes. The finished dessert can be served both hot and cold. Only when the banana has cooled down will the chocolate not be 100% melted. This dessert will appeal not only to adults, but also to children.

In the summer we often bake bananas with chocolate on the grill.

This is how quickly and simply, using affordable ingredients, you can prepare a wonderful dessert for yourself and your family. Bananas baked with chocolate in the oven turn out incredibly tasty.

Delicious and pleasant moments!

Making chocolate covered bananas with nuts (almonds)

If you want to slightly diversify the presentation of the basic recipe for our dessert with banana and chocolate, you can use crushed almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, and peanuts.

In addition to nuts, the products are sprinkled with puffed corn, coconut flakes, sesame seeds, seeds, crushed corn, cookies or multi-colored confectionery toppings.

Just don’t forget to sprinkle the chocolate with a banana inside immediately after applying the glaze - before you put the dessert in the refrigerator to harden.
