For cooking you will need the following products:
- Crab sticks – 300 g;
- Dill – 50 g;
- Eggs – 3 pcs;
- Processed cheese – 1 piece;
- Mayonnaise – 200-250 g;
- Lavash – 1 pc.
The process of preparing the roll:
First of all, take the crab sticks and cut them as finely as possible.
Place the chopped sticks in a pre-prepared deep bowl.
After this, you need to finely chop the dill and add it to the same bowl.
Now take a large grater and grate the boiled eggs on it.
After the eggs, take the cheese and also grate it on a coarse grater.
If the processed cheese is very soft, it will not grate well. Therefore, before cooking, it needs to be frozen a little in the freezer.
Season the finished filling with mayonnaise and mix.
Now you need to carefully apply the filling to the unfolded pita bread. Place the pita bread on a flat surface so that it does not suddenly break on something. And this is the kind of beauty you should achieve.
Now carefully twist it tightly.
This is the finished roll, you need to put it in a regular plastic bag and put it in the refrigerator for 60-75 minutes. This is done so that the pita bread is well soaked.
After the specified time has passed, we take out our roll and cut it with a sharp knife into small pieces, approximately 2.5-3 cm thick. Of course, you can do more. The size of the pieces is according to your preference.

In this recipe, I decided to experiment and bake pita rolls in the oven. The dish turns out very tasty, beautiful and presentable. I picked up the recipe from our neighbors from another continent - the Americans.
True, in their cooking recipe they use tortillas, instead of the usual pita bread we love. But this will not affect the quality of our finished roll.
You only need 4 types of ingredients:
- Chicken meat – 1 kg;
- Large lavash – 2 pieces;
- Hard cheese – 200 g;
- Krasnodar sauce – 0.5 l (1 can);
- Butter – 100 g.
Cooking method:
For cooking, you can use ready-made grilled chicken, or cook it yourself by frying it in a frying pan. There's nothing complicated about it. You buy a chicken breast, separate the meat from the bone, cut it into medium pieces and fry in a frying pan until cooked.
I use ready-made rotisserie chicken, so I separate it into small pieces. I grate a piece of cheese on a fine grater.
I recommend using Krasnodar sauce or any other sauce with applesauce. I don’t recommend ketchup, as it can be harsh and will have to be diluted in any case with the same applesauce.
I cut one large pita bread into 4 equal parts. I got 8 small pita breads.
Roll with chicken in lavash
Chicken roll in lavash is an excellent option for a quick snack, as well as a light dish for lunch or dinner. Add fresh ideas to your home menu. This version of a dish of meat and vegetables will please any family member.
Ingredients for two servings:
- chicken fillet - 1 piece
- wheat flatbreads (thin lavash) - 4 pieces
- Korean carrots - 50 gr.
- two medium tomatoes
- onion - 1 small onion
- cheese - 50 gr.
- salad - 50 gr.
- sour cream - 30 gr.
- salt, spices;
- tomato paste or ketchup - 30 gr.
Preparation progress:
Cut the chicken fillet into small strips. Heat a frying pan with oil and fry the meat with the addition of spices and salt (optional) for about 10-15 minutes over medium heat until cooked.

While the meat is cooking, chop the vegetables. Wash the tomato and lettuce thoroughly. Peel the onion. Cut everything into small strips. Next, cut the cheese into thin layers.
Now let's prepare the dressing sauce. Take sour cream (can be replaced with natural yogurt) and mix with tomato paste or ketchup, add salt and spices to taste.
Forming a roll. Take a flatbread, grease it with sauce, put chicken, chopped vegetables, Korean carrots and cheese on it.
We wrap the roll like cabbage rolls or filled pancakes. We bend the bottom and top edges, and then roll it up into a tube.
Fry it in a frying pan for about two minutes on each side so that the flatbread becomes crispy and serve hot.

Lavash roll with canned fish and melted cheese
It is not always possible to buy expensive fish, so you can always replace it with regular canned fish.
For this version of the roll, I purchased the following products:
- Thin lavash – 3 pcs. size 30x25 cm;
- Canned fish – 1 can per 250 g;
- Processed cheese – 2 pcs;
- Chicken eggs – 3 pcs;
- Mayonnaise – 8 tablespoons;
- Garlic – 5 cloves;
- Dill – 1 bunch.
The process of making lavash roll:
- Drain the liquid from the canned food, pour into a deep bowl and knead thoroughly with a fork until smooth.
If you have a lot of fish in the jar, but very little liquid, this happens. Then you don’t need to drain anything, but just mash everything together.
- After the fish has been chopped, take a bunch of dill and finely chop it. Approximately 3-5 mm pieces.
- Pass the garlic through a garlic press or crush it thoroughly with a knife.
- Grate the melted cheese on a fine carrot grater.
- Grate the eggs on a coarse grater.
- In a deep bowl, mix chopped herbs, garlic and 6 heaped tablespoons of mayonnaise. Mix thoroughly and set aside.
- In another deep container, mix grated processed cheese, 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 1/3 of the garlic-dill mixture. Mix.
The ingredients for making the roll are ready. Now let's start creating it:
- We spread cling film on a flat surface and place one sheet of pita bread on it.
- We spread the melted cheese mixture on it and spread it over the entire surface using a silicone spatula or a regular spoon. Try to spread along all edges so that they are not dry.
- After all the manipulations, cover the layer of cheese with a second sheet of pita bread and grease it with half of the remaining garlic-dill mixture. We also spread it over the entire surface.
- Place canned fish on top and distribute evenly throughout the pita bread.
- Cover the fish with a third sheet of pita bread and spread with the remaining dill mayonnaise.
- Spread the grated eggs evenly in the last layer.
- Carefully wrap the pita bread into a tube shape, and then wrap the roll itself in the cling film on which it was lying. Place in the refrigerator to soak for one and a half to two hours.
The finished roll according to this recipe turns out very tasty and soft.

- Sauce - 3-4 tbsp.

How to cook:
Cut the washed cucumber into thin strips. We cut peeled carrots in the same way or use a grater to prepare Korean carrots. Separate the bones and skin from the chicken thighs and place the meat in a hot frying pan with a little oil. Fry on both sides until done: 8-10 minutes on each side. In the frying pan where the chicken thighs were fried, add the bell pepper cut into thin strips, add salt and pepper to taste and cook, stirring, until slightly soft but still crispy. Cut the cooled chicken thighs into small pieces. Grease the lavash sheet with sauce. This can be homemade or store-bought mayonnaise, or your favorite sauce, and add the filling: lettuce, poultry, carrots and peppers. We wrap the pita bread into a roll. The finished lavash roll can be served.
A simple and delicious recipe for making lavash in the oven
The simplest fillings for pita bread in the oven can be borrowed from pies. Making these is also very interesting, and you don’t need to knead the dough, even in a quick way, we already have it ready!
We take our favorite potatoes, cabbage, eggs with green onions, basically whatever you like, wrap it in pita bread and bake it.
Let's take a closer look at an example using mashed potatoes.
They turn out crispy and aromatic, very tasty!
I don’t write the number of ingredients, it’s not important. It is convenient to use puree that is left over from lunch or dinner, but you can also specially prepare it in advance.
Boil the potatoes in salted water, then add salt to the water, and mash the vegetables with a masher.
You can add chopped herbs, a little grated cheese, garlic and black pepper. Mix everything thoroughly.
The lavash sheet needs to be cut into rectangles. Their size is approximately this: 13x18 cm.
Place a spoonful of filling on the narrow edge of the strip and wrap it into a tube.
Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and greased with butter.
Don’t forget this point: stir the egg yolk with a small amount of milk and lubricate the tubes with this mixture.
If desired, you can sprinkle with sesame seeds, it will be more beautiful and appetizing.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, baking time – about 15 minutes.

How to cook lavash with cottage cheese in the oven
For me, the most delicious filling in lavash is curd, which many people agree with. And you can cook with it in different ways too. There are a huge number of such recipes.
See, for example, how interesting it is to lay out cottage cheese, turning it into cream. And also add some berries. A wonderful dietary option for quick baking for tea!
So, take a sheet of lavash, 400 g of cottage cheese, 2 eggs, 300 g of raspberries. We will also need sour cream (2 tablespoons), sugar (100 g) and powder.
Place the cottage cheese in a blender bowl and blend. If you don’t have such a technique, you can simply mash it with a fork.
Next, add sour cream, sugar, one egg and continue beating until smooth.
Cut the lavash sheet into two parts.
Spread a thin layer of curd mixture over the entire surface of both.
Place fresh or frozen berries on top and roll into a roll.
Now we need a second cooked egg; we separate the yolk from it, which we need to grease the surface of the rolls with.
Bake for 30-35 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.

This was honey mixed with coconut flakes, cinnamon (to taste and desire) and nuts crushed to a pasty state. Let's mix everything. Just hold the chopped fruit over steam for a few minutes and add it to the honey dressing. To avoid it being too liquid, watch its consistency. Wrap the filling in pita bread and enjoy with great pleasure!

I love salty cottage cheese fillings with dill! And not only in lavash, but I also make cheesecakes and pancakes with it.

You can take any greens according to your taste and availability at home: green onions, dill, parsley. Chop it finely.
Combine it in a deep bowl with cottage cheese, salt and pepper, add one egg.
The butter must be removed from the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes soft.
Grease a sheet of lavash with oil, spread the curd filling, and roll it into a tube.
It needs to be cut into pieces of the desired size and placed tightly together in a baking dish.
To fill, combine 2 eggs with sour cream. Pour this mixture over the rolls and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

In addition, the film will protect against drying out if you do not plan to eat the rolls in one sitting. However, they cannot be stored for a long time. It is optimal to eat them within 3-4 hours after preparation.

Then I put this mass on small squares of pita bread and, having filled it, fried it in butter. You can heat it in the oven or in the microwave, even on the grill or campfire!
"Nostalgia"
The taste of this snack is somewhat reminiscent of Soviet-era dishes. Perhaps this is because during this period sprats were always on holiday tables, which are among the ingredients for filling these pita rolls.
To prepare the filling for such a simple and very spicy snack, you need to take half a standard can of sprats and remove the oil from them. Cut each fish lengthwise into two parts. After this you need to prepare the cheese. Take 100 g of any hard cheese (Parmesan, cheddar, etc.) and grate it on a medium-sized grater. The same should be done with two hard-boiled eggs.
In a separate bowl, combine 2-3 cloves of garlic, crushed using a press, as well as half a glass of mayonnaise. After this, the ingredients should be thoroughly mixed until smooth and the mixture should be applied in an even layer to a sheet of lavash. Spread the grated cheese evenly over the created sauce, then cover it with another sheet of pita bread. Now you should spread the second tier of dough, lay eggs and sprats on top of it, distributing them evenly over the entire area.
After all the described actions have been completed, you need to roll both sheets of pita bread into one roll and, wrapping it in film, send it to marinate in the refrigerator for an hour. After this time, the pita roll with cheese, eggs and sprats can be served, having previously been cut into portions.
