  5. The fillet is cut into miniature cubes, salted, and spices are added. After this, place it on the bottom of the portion form. The fish is topped with fried onions and spinach.

  6. For gravy, low-fat cream (about 100 g) is mixed with eggs. Add salt and pepper to the mixture and beat with a hand whisk.

  7. The fish filling is filled with creamy sauce. Place mashed potatoes on top of it. The dish is sent to the oven.

  • Pollock fillet – 200 g
  • Eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Water – 4 tbsp.
  • Onion – 1 pc. (50 g)
  • Carrots – 1 pc. (50 g)
  • Tomato – 80 g
  • Bell pepper – 1/4 pcs. (60 g)
  • Cauliflower – 100 g
  • Fresh herbs - to taste
  • Salt, pepper - to taste
  • Provençal herbs – to taste

To prepare an omelet-casserole of pollock with vegetables, take the following ingredients.

If necessary, pollock fillet (we have it without bones) is defrosted in advance, washed and dried. Then cut into small pieces.

Chop the onion.

Cut the carrots into small cubes.

We also cut the bell pepper (you can use yellow instead of red or both) into small cubes.

I take frozen cauliflower, and therefore first blanch it for a couple of minutes in boiling water. Then I cool and chop. Actually, the same thing needs to be done with fresh one, if you use one.

As you can see, my tomatoes are cherry tomatoes, I cut them into 4 parts. A regular tomato needs to be cut into cubes.

Immediately after cutting, load the fish and vegetables into a form greased with vegetable oil. In my case, this is a frying pan with a removable handle with a diameter of 22 cm. That is, we cut the components and immediately transfer them to the mold. We place pieces of pollock fillet on the bottom, and try to evenly distribute the vegetables on top of the fish.

In a bowl, combine the ingredients for the filling - eggs, water, finely chopped fresh herbs and spices: salt, black pepper, Herbs de Provence. Mix the mixture thoroughly with a fork or whisk.

Finally, fill the contents of the pan with egg wash. Use a spatula to pierce the vegetables and fish so that the eggs fill the entire space. Place the pan in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 30 minutes.

In our difficult times, when prices are inexorably rising, we want to spend money economically. Therefore, you should not throw away food left after dinner. Fish casserole with rice can become an exquisite dish made from yesterday's products, if you use a little imagination.

Required set of ingredients:

  • fish of marine origin (salmon, hake, pink salmon);
  • boiled rice;
  • butter;
  • milk;
  • flour (a few spoons for sauce);
  • cheese (Parmesan is possible);
  • green peas (frozen or canned);
  • dill greens and onion feathers;
  • lemon for juice;
  • salt and spices.

Cooking steps:

  1. First prepare the bechamel sauce. Melt a piece of butter in a small saucepan and mix it with two tablespoons of flour. Next, pour in milk in a thin stream and cook until it thickens.

  2. Sea fish is cut into strips or cubes (in this form, it will not fall apart during baking). Mix with green peas, finely chopped onion and dill. Pour lemon juice on top, salt and pepper.

  3. Pour some of the bechamel sauce into the bottom of the mold. Some boiled rice is placed in it. Next is a layer of fish. Bechamel again. Repeat the process several times.
  4. Bake the food for 30 minutes in the oven. Serve cooled.

If you put a little grated cheese in the milk sauce, it will turn out with an excellent flavor. Accordingly, the casserole will be much more appetizing.
