And we send the chicken breasts with potatoes into the firebox to bake for one hour and ten minutes at a temperature of 180-200 degrees (it’s clear that if the dish starts to burn, it will need to be pulled out earlier!)

After the specified time, our dish should have a beautiful golden color, approximately like in the recipe photo,

Step-by-step preparation

Step 1:

Prepare ingredients to fry potatoes and chicken. I take a chicken leg, but it can be any part of the chicken - thighs, legs, breast. Medium potatoes 10 pcs. It is better to choose non-starchy varieties so that the potatoes retain their shape when frying. I use onions, but you can also use garlic - it will be more flavorful.

Step 2:

Wash the legs and dry with a paper towel. I will fry chicken without bones (the bones will be used for broth). But you can fry the whole thing, then make the pieces smaller so that the chicken is also fried. Remove the flesh from the legs and cut into medium pieces.

Step 3:

Wash the potatoes, peel and cut into pieces. It is better not to make the pieces very thick, otherwise the potatoes will be fried and get a golden brown crust.

Step 4:

Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan and fry the chicken flesh in it on each side. It is better to take a good frying pan on which the potatoes will not burn.

Step 5:

Add chopped potatoes, stir and fry the potatoes and chicken over medium heat, uncovered for about ten minutes.

Step 6:

Peel the onion, chop as desired and add to the potatoes and chicken. Add salt and pepper to taste. Without covering the pan with a lid, fry the potatoes and chicken until cooked, stirring constantly.
