To prepare cabbage salad with apples and carrots, you must first finely chop the white cabbage. Then transfer it to a large container, add salt, add a little sugar, mix and shake with your hands. The cabbage should release some juice and become softer. After that, you need to grate the carrots on a medium grater into the carrot and apple salad recipe with cabbage. Then you need to add apples cut into small strips to a salad of fresh cabbage with apples and carrots. Moreover, you need to take apples of either sour or sweet and sour variety. If you use our Russian apples, then you don’t have to cut off the peel! But it is better to cut it from foreign apples.

After adding grated carrots and chopped apples to a vegetable salad with an apple and fresh cabbage, you need to season it with vegetable oil, add salt to taste and add the juice of freshly squeezed lemon.
