The procedure for preparing a salad with squid, eggs and peas - step-by-step description:

  1. Place the squid in boiling salted water and cook for 2-3 minutes. Then quickly take it out, remove the film and cut into small pieces.
  2. For the salad you will need hard-boiled eggs - you can prepare them in advance.
  3. Cut the fresh cucumber into cubes, leaving a small piece to decorate the finished dish.
  4. We combine all the components in one container - we also send canned peas there. Add salt to taste and mix with mayonnaise.
  5. Place the prepared squid salad in portions in bowls or serve in a large, beautiful dish. If desired, you can line the bottom of the dish with green lettuce leaves - in the form of flower petals. Place a heap of lettuce on top, and slices of fresh cucumber will complete this appetizing culinary composition.

Salad with squid, rice, carrots and champignons

Ingredients

  • 500 g squid
  • 250 g marinated champignons
  • 100 g boiled fluffy rice
  • 1–2 carrots
  • 2 boiled eggs
  • 100 g canned green peas

Of course, the classic salad recipe hardly included boiled sausage - the original Olivier was prepared with the addition of hazel grouse, crayfish necks and capers. For the upcoming holidays, we have prepared a recipe for a delicious salad with squid and porcini mushrooms with an unusually refined, spicy taste. Both chilled and frozen squid are suitable for preparing the appetizer - in any case, the dish will be a great success!

Ingredients for a delicious squid and mushroom salad:

  • frozen or chilled squid – 100 gr.
  • beef tongue – 100 gr.
  • hard cheese – 100 gr.
  • pickled porcini mushrooms – 150 gr.
  • eggs – 4 pcs.
  • potatoes – 200 gr.
  • green peas – 150 gr.
  • mayonnaise – 250 gr.
  • mustard – 1 tbsp. l.
  • salt - to taste

Making a salad of squid, mushrooms and cheese - according to a simple recipe:

  1. Boil the squid meat in salted water for 3 – 5 minutes. When completely cool, cut into small pieces or thin strips.
  2. We wash the beef tongue under running water and put it on the fire to cook. We remove the skin from the finished product and also chop it into small strips - we cut the cheese in the same way.
  3. Boil the potatoes and eggs until tender and, after cooling, cut into small pieces. Porcini mushrooms need to be chopped. Pour the canned peas from the jar into a colander and let the liquid drain. In a separate plate, combine mayonnaise and mustard.
  4. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and pour in mayonnaise-mustard sauce. Mix again and add salt if necessary.
  5. Place the squid salad in a beautiful salad bowl and garnish with slices of mushrooms and green onions. Serve such a delicious dish to the table, and your guests will certainly ask for more.
