The appetizer turned out to be very tasty, tender and original. Therefore, I decided to make a turkey salad, a recipe with prunes, mushrooms, and cheese for the New Year.

It decorated and diversified my holiday table with the fact that you can sculpt any figure from it, the consistency holds its shape perfectly.

For a buffet, salad with turkey meat can be served on bread, using cookie cutters, for example, to cut out stars and place the salad mixture on top.

To prepare a boiled turkey salad, you will need:

  • small turkey drumstick (400-450 grams)
  • 3 eggs
  • 10 prunes
  • 70 g cheese
  • 10 walnut kernels
  • canned champignons 425 ml (cut)
  • 1 onion
  • vegetable oil
  • salt
  • mayonnaise

The turkey needs to be boiled in advance until cooked, preferably a day in advance, and then put it in the refrigerator. Boil the eggs as well.

How to make a delicious turkey and mushroom salad

1. Let's start with onions and mushrooms. Finely chop the onion and place it to fry, or rather even stew, in vegetable oil over low heat.

Don’t add too much oil, otherwise the salad with boiled turkey will turn out very fatty, like a glutton with mushrooms. we don't need this.

2. While the onions are frying, open the jar of champignons, drain the liquid and finely chop the mushrooms. If you come across small, whole, beautiful slices, leave them for decoration.

Actually, the whole taste of the salad lies in the fact that these mushrooms are used, properly prepared at the factory, elastic, juicy.

Remember, we used them in the recipe for quick pickled champignons. Only there they were whole, but now they are cut to save time on slicing them. Add them to the onion and fry until some of the liquid has evaporated, this will take about 5 minutes, do not forget to stir from time to time.

Cool.

3. To make the prunes softer, and also to remove at least some of the preservatives and other harmful additives from them, put them in cold water, put them on the stove and let them boil. Then remove, rinse with cold water, dry and finely chop.

4. The turkey drumstick needs to be cleared of skin, all cartilage and soft bones removed. Cut the meat with a knife.

5. Grate the walnuts on a fine grater. You need to do the same with cheese and eggs, only a large grater is more suitable for eggs.

All ingredients are ready to mix. Mayonnaise needs to be added little by little so that the mass is dense, not too dry, but also not floating. Trust your own taste when trying the salad.

Once you are completely satisfied with the consistency, add salt.

Place in the center of a flat plate, use a spatula and spoon to form a round shape, it's very simple. Sprinkle grated walnuts on top of the salad, garnish with egg daisies with peas or corn in the center, remaining champignons and fresh herbs.

Warm salad is a wonderful choice for a hearty breakfast, hearty lunch or holiday dinner. This food is especially relevant in winter, when our body needs hot food that can warm us up.

Warm salads are prepared from various ingredients: meat, poultry and fish, liver, seafood, vegetables and some fruits, cheese, sausages and pasta, legumes, herbs, various spices and seasonings.

Olive oil, lemon (or lime) juice, natural yogurt, melted butter, mayonnaise (preferably homemade), wine vinegar, Dijon mustard are used as a dressing for warm salads.

Today we will prepare a wonderful salad, warm salad with turkey and mushrooms.

To make a salad with turkey and mushrooms, you will need:

turkey meat (boiled) – 250 g small champignons – 110 g smoked bacon – 6 strips onion – 1 pc. melted butter – 25 g red wine vinegar – 2 tbsp. l. sherry - 3 tbsp. l. spinach leaves – 120-150 g ground black pepper salt

How to make turkey salad with mushrooms:

1. Peel the onions, cut lengthwise and cut into feathers. 2. Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the chopped onions for 3-4 minutes (until they become soft). 3. Place the mushrooms in a frying pan with the fried onions and cook for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown. 4. Remove the fried mushrooms and onions from the pan using a slotted spoon, place on a plate and set aside. 5. Cut the bacon strips into halves and roll into small rolls. Then place them in a frying pan with the remaining oil and cook for 2-3 minutes. 6. Add wine vinegar and sherry to the pan, salt and pepper to taste. 7. Place the mushrooms and onions back into the pan and stir. 8. Cut the boiled turkey into medium-sized cubes and place in a frying pan with mushrooms. 9. Rinse spinach leaves under running water and dry. 10. Place spinach leaves on serving plates, then boiled turkey and mushrooms with bacon. Top with the warm sauce remaining in the pan.

Serve immediately after cooking!

To prepare the salad, it is recommended to take small champignons, but if you don’t find any in your supplies, you can add large mushrooms, after cutting them into small, beautiful slices. Both fresh and canned champignons are great for this dish.

If you want the spinach leaves to be softer when serving, place them in the pan with the turkey and gravy for a few minutes first.

Warm salad with turkey and mushrooms does an excellent job as an independent, hearty meal. However, you can serve it as a main dish by offering boiled rice or pasta (pasta) as a side dish.

Warm salad with turkey fried in soy sauce

Ingredients:

  • Turkey – 500 g
  • Bell pepper - 2 pcs
  • Salad mix – 100 g
  • French mustard - 3 tbsp. l
  • Cherry tomatoes – 200 g
  • Olive oil - 6 tbsp. l
  • Apple cider vinegar -3 tbsp. l
  • Soy sauce - 100 g
  • seasonings

Preparation:

Cut the turkey into equal cross-section slices. Pour plenty of soy sauce and leave for half an hour.
