Pork with vegetables in a frying pan
This dish perfectly combines different flavors of vegetables, spices and meat. Everything is stewed in one pan under a closed lid. Vegetables release a lot of juice, which makes the pork very soft and tender.
The set of vegetables can be supplemented at your discretion: zucchini, zucchini, broccoli, champignons. In winter, when there is no fresh food, you can use frozen mixtures.
Required Products:
- 700 g pork;
- 1 bell pepper;
- 1 carrot;
- 1 large onion;
- 4 tomatoes;
- 4 cloves of garlic;
- A bunch of parsley;
- Salt.
For the marinade:
- ¼ tsp. dried hot red pepper;
- ½ tsp. ground black pepper;
- 1 tsp. paprika;
- Salt.
Preparation:
- We cut the meat into pieces of arbitrary shape, 2/2 cm in size. Add spices and salt to taste, mix and leave to marinate.
- Cut the onion in half and then into half rings. Cut the peppers and carrots into strips. Carrots can be grated on a Korean carrot grater, and then chopped a little with a knife.
- Finely chop the parsley and cut the garlic into thin slices. We make a cross-shaped cut in the tomato, scald it with boiling water and remove the peel. Cut the pulp into 4 parts.
- Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, heat it up and add the pork. Fry until golden brown. Add the onion and cook until transparent. Then throw in the carrots and peppers. Cover with a lid and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Distribute tomato slices on top, cover with a lid and simmer for another 8-10 minutes. Add the greens and garlic, add some salt if necessary and simmer for another 2-3 minutes under the lid.
- For a family dinner, the dish doesn’t even need to be put on a plate. Serve directly in the pan so that everyone can help themselves as much as they want.
Pork baked in the oven with vegetables in foil
Today we will cook meat according to a recipe that is simply impossible to remain silent about. It's amazingly tasty and beautiful! At the same time, preparing it is not at all difficult. But you can serve it both on holidays and on weekdays.
Your family will definitely be surprised by this serving. The prepared dish even has its own name, and is called accordion pork. We have already prepared something similar in one of the collections. But there we cooked it on a “bed” of potatoes, and by the way, it was also very tasty!
We will need:
- Pork tenderloin half a kilo
- Two bell peppers
- Two tomatoes
- Two hundred grams of cheese
- Garlic, salt, spices to taste
- Olive oil
Preparation:
1. Take the tenderloin and make vertical cuts along the entire surface, at a distance of one and a half centimeters from each other. The cuts should be deep, not reaching a centimeter or one and a half to the base of the piece.
That is, we should get a kind of “accordion” with a common base and strips of meat of the same width.
2. Place the meat on foil, previously unrolled in a baking dish. It must be salted in advance, seasoned with spices, garlic, passed through a press. And mash thoroughly so that it is saturated with all the seasonings and flavorings.
It is very good to use aromatic, spicy herbs such as oregano, thyme, rosemary here. You can take a mixture of Provencal herbs, they will give just the right aroma.
3. Cut the tomatoes into slices and the peppers into slices. Don’t “thin” it; the more juice the vegetables give, the tastier and juicier the meat will be.
4. Cut the cheese into thin slices. If you absolutely love cheese, then it’s not a sin to cut it thicker.
5. Now the most crucial moment, we will fill our “accordion” with vegetables.
In each cut we place pepper, cheese, a slice of tomato in the same sequence, trying to ensure that all this is arranged evenly and beautifully. Sprinkle olive oil on top. Everything already looks very appetizing!
Cover with a top layer of foil so that there are no gaps. It is important for us that the contents are baked not only from the heat of the oven, but also stewed from their own steam.
6. Place our beauty in an oven preheated to two hundred degrees.
7. After 60 minutes, we take out our masterpiece - what a divine aroma! We give the opportunity to stand and simmer for another 15 - 20 minutes, so the pulp will be even better saturated with all the juices and smells.
Now you can carefully unfold the foil and place the finished dish in a large, flat dish without cutting it yet. Let everyone admire what we have achieved.
Then you can cut the meat along the existing cut and serve it to everyone on a plate. Enjoy eating!
Stew with rice and vegetables
This recipe is similar to pilaf, but is prepared faster and requires fewer ingredients. It turns out quite satisfying and of course tasty.
Required Products:
- Pork pulp – 0.35 kg;
- rice - 1 tbsp.;
- onion – 1 pc.;
- carrots – 1 pc.;
- vegetable oil – 0.04 l.;
- greens – 0.5 bunch;
- salt, spices to your taste.
Preparation:
Rinse the meat and cut into small pieces. Heat a frying pan and pour vegetable oil onto it. Throw the meat in there and fry until golden brown.
Rinse the carrots, peel and grate on a fine grater. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Add vegetables to meat, stir and cook for 10 minutes.
Rinse the rice several times. Place it in a frying pan with the meat, sprinkle with salt and selected spices. Stir. Boil half a liter of water and pour over the meat and rice. There should be enough liquid to cover the meat and rice by about 2 centimeters.
Good to know! Rice can be used either long grain or round. The choice of rice will not particularly affect the original result.
Cover the frying pan with a lid and simmer for about 25-30 minutes, until fully cooked, remembering to stir the contents of the pan occasionally.
Rinse the greens and chop finely. Sprinkle it over the dish and stir. The stew with rice is ready.
Tender steak
Pork in a frying pan can be cooked differently. In most cases, experienced chefs advise making steak from this meat. And onions and seasonings are usually used as a fragrant addition.
This is the simplest and most popular option. To work you will need a limited set of products:
- 0.6 kilograms;
- 1 onion;
- 30 milliliters table mustard;
- salt;
- 35 grams of vegetable oil;
- a mixture of red and black ground pepper.
Cooking pork in a frying pan is very simple:
- First, the meat must be washed (necessarily in cold water), and then dried and cut into pieces no more than 1.5 cm thick.
- After this, they should be thoroughly coated on all sides with mustard and left to marinate for about an hour.
- At this time, you can slowly cut the onion into half rings.
- Place the prepared meat in a frying pan with oil heated to a boil and fry for 3 minutes on each side.
- Add the onion, stir the ingredients, then cover the pan with a lid and leave the contents for 5 minutes, while reducing the heat to medium.

Pork stewed with vegetables is an easy-to-prepare dish that is hearty and tasty. It is quite suitable for every day, and even if guests arrive unexpectedly, there will be something to feed them.
According to the compatibility chart, meat goes perfectly with vegetables. True, this does not apply to starchy foods. Therefore, in order to make it in a frying pan, you need to think in advance not only about the cooking technology, but also about the recipe composition of a particular dish. How much time to cook
Essentially, stewing meat is carried out in two stages: frying it and boiling it. It is during frying that the fibers are “sealed” and it retains its juiciness. And at the second stage, the fried product is filled with a sufficient amount of liquid and undergoes further heat treatment.
Cooking time largely depends on the thickness of the pieces and the age of the animal (the older, the longer). Also, how long to stew the meat is influenced by its preliminary preparation. If the pork is cut into small pieces (1 cm thick), it must first be fried. Frying time over medium heat is 5 minutes. After adding spices and water or sauce, simmer the pork for another 20-30 minutes over low heat. And then salt the dish, mix and simmer for another 5 minutes.
But larger pieces take a little longer to cook. Veal and pork are stewed for approximately 45-50 minutes, and beef - an hour and a half. When cooking this way, the pan should be covered with a lid and the heat should be set to low.
In general, I advise you to try a piece just before finishing cooking. If it's soft and chewy, it's time to turn it off.
Pork meat in pots with potatoes and mushrooms in the oven
Required for four 500 gram pots:
- Potatoes – 1.5 kg
- Carrots - 2 pcs.
- Pork – 500 g
- Mushrooms – 200 g
- Onion - 2 pcs.
- Sour cream - 3 tbsp. l.
- Oil - 2 tbsp. l.

Preparation
- Cut the pork meat into pieces.
- Then add salt, pepper and fry in a frying pan greased with oil.
- Place the fried pieces of meat among the pots. Also place 1 bay leaf in each pot.
- Peel the potatoes and cut into strips.
- Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

- garlic – 6 cloves;

- soy sauce – 0.10 l.;
- starch – 0.10 kg;
- rice vinegar – 2 tbsp. l.;
- ground black pepper – 1 pinch;
- ground red pepper – 1 pinch;
- salt to your taste.
Preparation:
Rinse the beef and cut into cubes, the width of which should be about 1 centimeter.
Prepare the marinade. In a small container, combine 4 tablespoons of soy sauce and vinegar. Crush 3 cloves of garlic and throw into a container.
Sprinkle the meat with salt and black pepper. Then pour in the marinade and set aside for 40 minutes until the meat is marinated.
During this time, you need to rinse the bell pepper, remove the seeds and cut it into strips. Peel the onion and cut into large pieces.
We are preparing the dressing. Squeeze the remaining garlic cloves into a separate small bowl. Add ground red pepper and the rest of the soy sauce to it. Stir.
After 40 minutes. Pour starch into a plate and roll each piece of meat. Place a frying pan on the stove and pour vegetable oil into it. It should be 1.5 cm in the pan. Heat a frying pan and fry the meat in several stages. Transfer the finished meat to a separate bowl.
Good to know! Do not throw the meat into the frying pan all together. The pieces will stick together and you will not get the desired result.
