French-style meat in a frying pan (the recipe is presented without potatoes) cooks somewhat slower than in the oven, but it is great for those who do not have an oven. For chops, choose pork pulp, preferably the part called the loin.

  1. We wash the meat and dry it with paper towels or napkins.
  2. We cut the selected piece into thin slices and beat them with a hammer on both sides.
  3. Mix salt and pepper and rub each slice with this mixture.
  4. Heat the frying pan over high heat, pour a small amount of vegetable oil into it and fry the prepared pieces (without reducing the heat) until golden brown.

  5. Cut the tomatoes into thin slices.
  6. We wash and sort the mushrooms, and also cut them into thin slices.
  7. Reduce heat to low, place mushrooms on pieces of fried meat, and place tomatoes on top.
  8. Grate the cheese and pour it into a bowl.
  9. Separately, beat the egg and mayonnaise, add the mixture to the cheese and mix. Lubricate the tomatoes with the prepared mixture. Cover with a lid and leave to simmer until fully cooked.

To prevent the bottom of the dish from burning, periodically add a small amount of oil or water to the pan.

Ingredients:

  • champignons (490 g);
  • pork (490 g);
  • three onions;
  • the same amount of tomatoes;
  • feta cheese (220 g);
  • sour cream 15% (490 ml);
  • pineapples (several pieces);
  • thyme;
  • ground pepper;
  • basil;
  • marjoram;
  • ground pepper;
  • salt;
  • a little flour;
  • mustard;
  • vegetable oil.

Cut the pork (you can use the neck) into slices, the thickness of which should be no more than 1-1.5 centimeters. We beat each of them thoroughly and flavor it with mustard. Next, roll the meat in flour and fry in a frying pan until golden brown. And only after frying we add salt. Next, chop the champignons quite coarsely and fry them in a clean frying pan with vegetable oil. Meanwhile, cut the tomatoes and onions into rings.

Next we move on to preparing the sauce. In a separate deep bowl, mash the cheese with a fork and add sour cream, mix the mass until smooth. The result should be a fairly thick sauce. You can add marjoram, basil, pepper and thyme to it.

Next we need a frying pan or baking dish. Grease the container with oil and place the food in it in layers: onions, then meat, fried mushrooms, onions again, tomatoes, pineapple slices (you can use canned ones). Don’t forget to coat each layer a little with sauce. Pour the remaining mixture on top of the pineapples and sprinkle the dish with grated cheese.
