According to historians, the birthplace of chicken zrazy is the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. No one knows exactly which people started preparing zrazy. Initially they used lamb, pork and beef, and only a few years later they used poultry and game. The traditional filling is considered to be eggs, mushrooms and fermented milk and hard cheeses. But the most interesting thing is the filling of berries, which give the final dish sourness and a pleasant aftertaste.

Required ingredients:

  • meat (here from chicken thighs) - 500 grams;
  • onions - 1 pc.;
  • white bread - 2-3 slices;
  • cream - 100 ml;
  • chicken eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • salt;
  • black pepper;
  • vegetable oil for frying;
  • breadcrumbs.

  • Cut off the crusts from the bread, soak them in cream (first bring them to a hot state).
  • Remove the skins from the onion, wash it and cut it into small slices.
  • Using a meat grinder, grind the softened bread, onions and meat.
  • Salt and pepper the resulting mixture.
  • Beat in the eggs with a whisk and combine with the rest of the ingredients.

Frozen semi-finished chicken and omelette products are defrosted in a refrigerator. They give an oval-flattened shape with blunt tips. Fry in a frying pan using the basic method on both sides until a golden crust forms.

  • chicken breast - 600 grams;
  • champignons - 200 grams;
  • eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • half an onion;
  • salt;
  • allspice;
  • sour cream - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • flour for breading - 100 grams;
  • sunflower oil.

Step-by-step preparation:

  • Cut the mushrooms into several parts and fry over medium heat until half cooked.
  • We pass chicken fillet, chopped onion and sour cream through a meat grinder.
  • Boil the eggs, cool and cut into small cubes.
  • Combine eggs and mushrooms, add salt and pepper.

First of all, pour milk into a bowl and soak the bread slices.

  • fresh parsley and dill;
  • ground pepper - half a teaspoon;

  • spices asafoetida and turmeric - half a teaspoon each;
  • vegetable oil.

Cooking process:

Remove the skins from the potatoes, rinse them and let them cook. The water should completely cover the vegetable and be lightly salted. When ready, drain the water, reserving a little. Then pound until pureed.

While the potatoes are hot, add flour and turmeric. Stir until smooth and leave to cool.

Now let's get to the filling.

We wash the greens well, then shake them off to eliminate any liquid in the dish and finely chop them with a kitchen knife.

  • Onions – 3 pieces;
  • 4 eggs;
  • Bread or loaf – 3-4 pieces;
