Sour cream cake in a frying pan

This is perhaps my favorite quick recipe.

  • Flour-550 gr.
  • Sour cream (25%) - 300 gr.
  • Sugar-300 gr.
  • Baking powder-1.5 tsp.
  • Cocoa-1 tbsp. l.

Cream: sour cream (600 gr.) + sugar (180 gr.)

Decoration: crust crumbs

  1. In a bowl, combine 300 grams of sour cream and 300 grams of sugar and mix well with a spoon.

  2. We divide the resulting mass into 2 parts, since the cake will be two-color.

Sift 1 tablespoon of cocoa into one of the parts and mix well.

  3. Add one and a half teaspoons of baking powder to 550 grams of flour, mix well and add a little to each part of the dough and knead a soft, elastic dough.

This is how it turns out in finished form.

  4. Sprinkle the board lightly with flour and lay out one part of the dough, make a sausage out of it and divide it into 6 equal pieces, we do the same with the second part of the dough. And we roll each piece into a ball and it turns out to be 12 equal parts.

cake dough

  • Sprinkle the table lightly with flour and lay out 1 piece, roll it into a thin layer with a diameter of 22 cm.

  • We trim and remove the trimmings, we will need the trimmings from them and we will also make cakes.
  • Take the resulting cake, place it on a dry, heated frying pan and fry on each side for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned. and do this with all the cakes. In total, we made 12 even cakes and 2 cakes from scraps.

  • Let's prepare the cream! Place 600 grams of sour cream in a bowl, add 180 grams of sugar and beat well with a mixer for 5 minutes. The cream is ready!

  • Let's collect the cake! We lightly wash the plate with cream, lay out the first cake layer, coat it well with cream

  • And we will do this with all the cakes, alternating between dark and light cakes. Be sure to leave 2 cakes for the crumbs. Coat the top and sides of the cake well.

  • From the remaining cake layers, make crumbs in a blender, mix and decorate the sides and top of the cake. If you have the desire and time, you can make a drawing on top of the cake.

  • We put the cake in the refrigerator so that it is well soaked, then we cut it and serve it to the table.

Cookies and gingerbread cakes

"Anthill" made from cookies

A cake that doesn't need to be baked. All you need is soft cookies, butter, condensed milk and nuts. All this is the basis of the dessert. But you can add your favorite chocolate, zest, and berries. This way the cake will acquire unusual flavors.

The pie itself can easily be classified as one where any of the ingredients can be easily replaced with what is available. For example, there are no cookies, but there are gingerbreads, great! Condensed milk can also be replaced with custard, which is prepared within 5 minutes.

The dessert is very satisfying and is more suitable for a family dinner or even an unexpected visit of friends.

Banana Gingerbread Cake

There are only 3 ingredients in this pie! Gingerbread, bananas and sour cream. Due to the ideal combination of products, the result is a very simple, moderately sweet and incredibly tasty dish. The “cakes” are quickly soaked in the “cream”. And bananas add a delicate, creamy flavor.

Mousse cake

It will take 10-15 minutes of your time to prepare. No baking! Cookie base. The top layer is banana mousse. Everything is simple, and most importantly, it saves time, effort and has all the advantages of mousse desserts: airiness, pleasant aroma and does not add as many calories as baked goods with cream.

How to make a quick cake: useful tips and tricks

If it so happens that guests unexpectedly fall on your head or you suddenly want something sweet, you need to turn on your imagination, quickly study the contents of the refrigerator and start making a culinary masterpiece from “nothing”.

Waffle joy

It’s as easy as shelling pears to make a quick cake from waffle plates and condensed milk. Buy a pack or two, maybe in different colors (they come in white, pink, green and yellow. They're all tasteless, don't worry). And a couple of cans of regular condensed milk. Plus a big lemon. It’s also a good idea to quickly add a handful or two of chopped walnuts or peanuts to this cake. Grate the lemon. And now: the plates are placed one after another on a flat dish, each is coated with condensed milk and sprinkled with nuts, sprinkled with lemon juice and zest. Any other citrus will do instead. Or, as a substitute, pineapple pulp - it also has a pleasant sourness. Thanks to it, your rather ordinary quick cake will turn out tastier and more interesting. When all the cakes are laid, spread the “cream” on top and sprinkle with chocolate - rub it on a regular tile. Not in the refrigerator? No problem. Mix a tablespoon of cocoa powder with a teaspoon of sugar and use the mixture as a dusting. Yes, don't forget about vanilla! Or finely crumble one wafer plate and sprinkle with it. And you can quickly decorate such a cake, for example, with pomegranate berries or grapes. Don't hesitate, it will be delicious!

Cookie cake

They say that the need for invention is cunning. But we will say differently: a cunning hostess who knows how to mobilize all her talents at a critical moment and treat her family and guests to something unusual. That’s why here’s another useful piece of advice on how to whip up a delicious cake. You will need 1 or 1.5 kg of dry cookies (biscuits or shortbread, without fillings), a can of condensed milk and a pack of butter. If you want, take better chocolate. Grind the cookies - break them, grate them or put them through a meat grinder, just don’t get them wet. Pour the crumbs into a bowl. Grind the milk and butter until smooth. Then mix with cookies, and mix thoroughly. If desired, you can add a little lemon juice. Now take a piece of clean cellophane or a large sheet of foil, place the cake blank evenly on it, level it and roll it into a thick “log”. Let it sit in the refrigerator for 35-40 minutes until it hardens. Sprinkle the finished cake with cocoa mixed with powdered sugar, cut into pieces and serve with tea.

Biscuit tenderness

Quick homemade cakes made from homemade sponge cakes are considered very successful. For the classic version of the delicacy, you will need a glass (250 g) of sugar and sifted flour, a little vanilla and 4-5 eggs. Plus some dexterity (where would culinary work be without it). Break the eggs, separate the yolks and whites. Beat with a mixer, gradually adding sugar, first the whites one by one, then gradually add the yolks with vanilla. The resulting mass should be quite dense and strong. After this, add flour and stir with a spoon, carefully so that the egg foam does not fall off. The correct movements will be from the bottom to the surface. The dough is poured into a mold pre-greased with butter and placed in a hot (195-200 degrees) oven for about 25 minutes. Just don’t open the door in advance - the dough will fall out. Look at the color: if the biscuit turns brown, it’s ready. Then the mold is removed and tipped onto a plate to remove the cake. Spread the cooled biscuit with jam, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and cut into slices. It's a beauty, not a cake, believe me!

These are such wonderful, quick desserts!

Brownie in 10 minutes

Restaurant dish in your kitchen? It's real! It’s even true that you can make brownies in a very short time. This cake has all the features of a traditional American dessert: a moist center, chocolatey taste and appearance. Perhaps you would like to add something else to this recipe? Great! Then you will find exactly the taste that every member of your family will appreciate.

  1. You need to take cold eggs and beat them into a bowl. Add sugar and vanilla sugar. Beat for about 7-10 minutes. The mass should increase 4 times.

After the biscuit has cooled, cut it into two parts. We cut off the edges and dry them in the oven. Grease one half of the cake and cover with the other.
