Special bitter cocoa recipes for adults
For those who consider cocoa a sweet childhood treat or simply like something bitter, you can also make a drink to your liking.
Bitter cocoa recipe
To prepare it, you just need to slightly change the proportions of the ingredients: for 250 ml of milk you will need 2-3 tablespoons (!) of powder and no sugar. The cooking process is similar to the basic one. This kind of cocoa is unlikely to appeal to a child, but some adults are happy to start their day.
Drink made with soy milk or condensed milk
But every child and adult will definitely like cocoa with condensed milk. Moreover, it is not even necessary to add a lot of sugar to it - half a teaspoon per glass is usually enough.
The preparation process, in fact, does not differ from the standard recipe, only the condensed milk must first be brought to a liquid state by mixing with a suitable amount of boiling water.
For those who, for various reasons, cannot drink cow's milk, there is a good alternative for preparation - soy milk. It also produces delicious cocoa, but during its preparation you need to take into account specific points. The fact is that soy protein coagulates at 80˚C, so it cannot be brought to a boil and generally kept on fire for a long time. For this reason, milk must be heated very slowly, and it is advisable to add sugar in advance and, if possible, stir.
Hot chocolate made from cocoa
There is no need to buy instant drinks and load your body with not-so-healthy additives, because it’s so easy to make hot chocolate from cocoa yourself, without leaving home.
Required Products:
- two glasses of milk;
- sugar to your taste;
- tsp vanilla sugar;
- three tsp. cocoa.
Cooking process:
- Mix the specified amount of cocoa with sugar based on your taste. For the ingredients from the list, 4 tsp will be enough.
- Heat the milk, but do not let it start to boil. Immediately add the cocoa-sugar mixture and vanilla.
- Do not forget to constantly stir the drink while brewing. If the components “stick” to the bottom, you can throw everything away.
- Keep the chocolate on the stove for no more than 15 minutes. It is important to taste it as you go, and when it cools a little, it will become thick - the way it should be.
