This is a variation of traditional meat gravy. The ingredients used in the recipe are the most common. The preparation of the dish itself is just as simple. Having made it once, you will forever refuse porridge or potatoes without a tasty and satisfying gravy.

Required ingredients:

- meat (0.5 kg);

- two onions and two carrots;

- a little flour - literally one tablespoon;

- tomato paste, approximately 4 tbsp. l. You can change its quantity based on your taste preferences.

Cooking method:

Wash the meat and cut it.

Peel the carrots and onions, chop: onions with a knife, and carrots with a grater.

Heat a frying pan with oil poured into it, put the meat there. Fry it not only until golden brown, but almost completely cooked.

Add carrots and onions to the meat and fry them together.

Place flour and tomato paste in a frying pan and stir vigorously to avoid the appearance of lumps.

Sprinkle with salt and pepper, pour in a little water, stir.

How to prepare meat gravy?


Meat gravy is a great addition to any dish.
And the most important thing is that you can cook it from any meat at your discretion. There are several recipes that are suitable even for a beginner in cooking. The only downside to the gravy is that it takes quite a long time to cook. But the ingredients are limited only by imagination and taste preferences. To prepare spicy meat gravy you will need the following ingredients:

  • any washed meat;
  • mustard;
  • garlic;
  • carrot;
  • bulb onions;
  • spices;
  • flour;
  • boiled water.

Choose meat to your taste. Please note that chicken or rabbit gravy cooks faster and is juicier and softer. Pork and beef will have to simmer in the pan for an order of magnitude longer.

  1. Preparing meat.
    Cut the selected meat into small pieces, mix with mustard and crushed garlic. For six full servings of gravy (120-140 grams each) you will need at least 500 grams of meat, two heaped tablespoons of mustard and five cloves of garlic. Fry the rolled pieces in a frying pan until a crust forms. It would be good if the frying pan was ceramic or non-stick. In this case, there is no need to add oil. Without it, the gravy will come out stewed in its own juice, which is much healthier for the body.
  2. Preparing vegetables.
    In another frying pan, fry the onion until golden brown, then add grated carrots to it. Combine meat, onions and carrots in a thick saucepan. It is not recommended to use aluminum containers due to the release of harmful substances during prolonged heating. Add all desired spices and stir. Then pour in water so that it completely covers the vegetables and meat, but no more than a couple of centimeters.
  3. Finishing touch.
    Under the lid, the dish will simmer for about an hour and a half. To make the gravy thick, add flour diluted in water. Calculation: for two heaped tablespoons of flour - half a glass of water. The mixture should be free of lumps. During cooking, stir the dish thoroughly and often to prevent it from burning. Cook over low heat. In 5-10 minutes, add salt to your taste and add any herbs you like.

Naturally, the recipe may change depending on preferences. So, meat gravy is prepared with tomato paste, which gives the dish a special rich color and taste. You can add finely chopped bell pepper, which will add freshness to the gravy. If you do not add flour during the cooking process, the dish will come out somewhat watery. In this case, it is better to cut the meat smaller in advance so that it boils well and quickly.

Pork with sour cream sauce for pasta

Ingredients:

  • Pork - 600 g;
  • Sour cream - 300 g;
  • Milk - half a glass;
  • Sunflower oil - 100 ml.;
  • Onions - 2 pcs.;
  • Garlic - 2 cloves;
  • Greens - a bunch;
  • Paprika - 1 tsp;
  • Carrots - 2 pcs.;
  • Spices - to taste;
  • Salt - to taste.

Cooking method:

  1. Wash the meat, cut into equal parts, add a little salt, fry in a frying pan;
  2. Grate the carrots, cut the onion into small cubes. Fry vegetables for 15 minutes. Combine ingredients in one pan. A roasting pan or saucepan with thick walls will also work;
  3. Add spices, water, and simmer until half cooked;
