He asked the barista if he could treat him to something special. To which the barista simply combined espresso, vanilla-flavored sweet sand and not too heavy cream.

Other guests also appreciated the new product and began ordering coffee “like Raf’s.” Such a name for the new masterpiece did not sound very attractive, so over time it was transformed into “Raf” coffee.

  1. First, boil 300 ml of purified water. To make coffee, you can use a coffee maker or a Turk. We will cook in a geyser coffee maker.

We put a sieve on top, pour two full teaspoons of brewed coffee, and put the coffee maker kettle on top. Place on the fire and cook the coffee until done.   3. Pour 250 ml of cream into a thick-bottomed saucepan or small saucepan. For this creamy coffee, it is enough to use 10-11% cream. Add 3 tsp to the cream. sugar and a pinch of vanillin, mix. If you use pure vanillin, one pinch is enough. If it is vanilla sugar, then you can add a teaspoon, then add a couple of teaspoons of sugar, stir the cream and taste. If you find them sweet enough, then you don’t need to add more sugar. Place the saucepan on the fire and cook, stirring constantly.

  4. Bring to a boil, but do not let it boil. When the temperature of the cream reaches its maximum, pour in the brewed coffee and stir. Then pour Raf coffee into a French press and beat for 1-2 minutes until foam appears. If there is no such press, beat with a mixer or whisk.
